This series introduces not one, not two, but three to die for heroes. And they're brothers...and identical twins. Catch your attention? I bet I did. But I get ahead of myself, so let's talk about this book.
Sutton is a woman who recently lost herself to a toxic relationship with a selfish, domineering man. She's given up everything, until enough is enough. She finally puts herself first by accepting the promotion of her dreams, and then dumps the baggage of her ex. Out with her friends to celebrate, the last thing she wants is another complication of a man. But when a sinfully sexy stranger says all the right things offers her a sizzling night of passion the likes of which she hasn't felt in years, she gives in.
So imagine her surprise when she walks into work to meet her new clients from her promotion, and sees triple. As in the mysterious stranger from her one night stand and his two carbon copies, and she has no idea who her stranger is. Then to complicate matters even more, we add in some forced proximity when she has to travel to the virgin islands with one of them to turn around their failing investment of a luxury resort...still having no idea if this man is the one she spent the night with, or if it's one of his brothers.
This is where things get really interesting. There's a ton of character development that happens in the next part of the book. I really loved seeing Sutton's backbone. Even when Callahan throws every seduction tactic her way, she doesn't give in and makes him work for it. The chemistry between them crackles with all of the passion, but it's a slow burn to beat all slow burns.
Callahan's layers get peeled back with each new revelation and flashback to his history with his father. Seen as the irresponsible one who just cars about chasing women by his father, the tension between him and his brothers is intense. There's so much resentment, judgement, and pain hidden under all of the love they clearly have for each other. I loved watching his slow decent from lust to realizing it's so much more to what he feels for Sutton. It was an interesting take to see them go from o to 60 back to 0 in the first third of the book, but all of it was deliciously entertaining.
Last Resort is a great start to what shows to be a promising and sizzling new series from K Bromberg and I'm so here for it!

Sutton Pierce has made a decision to finally breakup with her boyfriend of 2 years. Taking a step back Sutton is able to see him as the controlling, abusive, selfish lover he was. Invited to stay with her best friend she talked Sutton into a girls night. Feeling sorry for herself knowing she put her life on hold, denying herself promotions to make her boyfriend feel important now she drowing her sorrow at the bar. The next morning when Sutton woke a cup of Starbucks was delivered to the room, however it was Collins written on it instead of Johnnie Walker real name.
Callahan Sharpe was co-owner with his brothers of a multi-billion dollar company his father built from the ground. Was summons for a meeting with his brothers to hire a consultant to make improvements to a resort that he had signed that his brothers were against buying. Callahan was the youngest and the most spoiled by their father. They wanted Callahan to step up to the plate and take his portion of running the business. The brothers were tired and resenting Callahan for partying and sleeping around and threaten to cut him out. What they didn't realize is Callahan wanted to leave. The company wasn't the same without their father. To his surprise in walked Collins his one night stand.

To consultant and deal with complaints from employees & guest and bring the resort up to a luxury resort. Now she had to go to the Virgin Island with the unknown of which triplett was the man she was with the night before. Now she must spend 3 months in the Virgin Island with the possibility of being with the one man that has made her body sing.

*3.5* This story isn't groundbreaking or anything you haven't read before. M/F contemporary, wealthy man-child, a woman telling him 'no' makes him want her all the more.
Callahan is a certifiable manwhore. A one-night-stand king, leaving them all smiling, never going back for seconds. I didn't like him. Then those blashbacks to his father, the two of them talking about Cal's mom. His father's battle with dementia was written so carefully. It really touched my heart.
Sutton is harder to place. She has pulled herself out from under a destructive, emotionally abusive relationship. Going to a club one night with a friend and meets Callahan the manwhore. Crazy sparks fly, lots of fun was had, they go their own ways. But of course, she sees him again the following morning because he's her new boss.
It sounds shallow and cliché, because it is. But if you keep reading the story becomes a little deeper as both characters allow themselves to heal from their past wounds.
The ending is very Hollywood, but I was in the mood for a mushy romantic end. HEA.

Sutton + Callahan
You just finally broke up with your idiot boyfriend and your bestie drags you to a club and this hot guy starts flirting with you and you end up spending the most amazing night together - without exchanging names or any kind of info.
And then the next morning you get the promotion of your life - going to this island paradise with a client to work on his resort ... and of course the new client is the guy from last night.
We've all been there, right? pfffhahahaha! 🤣🤣

Well... this was.... cute! And funny and so very sexxay!!! Phew!
And even though it was one of those typical romance tropes ... it was a really adorable love story!
Poor Callahan is the black sheep in his family. He's the one triplet who never finished college, who never really wanted to work for the family company. But he was also the one his dad always favored - and that's why Ford and Ledger are a bit mad at him.
But now he has to prove himself with this resort project. And after that he's out - he'll leave the city and the company and just live his life.
And then there's Sutton. She finally left that horrible boyfriend and is now so close to her dream of running her own company. And then her one night guy turns out to be her new boss.
They can't keep doing on the island what they did that night, right?
But all those sparks, and the flirting and the STAYING IN THE SAME BUNGALOW FOR MONTHS! LOL!
I really enjoyed reading this.
At first it was a bit too tropey and too insta sexy for my tastes, but it got so much better and more serious and emotional and sweet and adorable and islandy.
I loved it.
Can't wait to see what the other two triplets will have to tell us!

K Bromberg is off to a sexy start with this new series and I am here for it!! Last Resort gave us the undeniably scorching chemistry, getaway adventure and a woman’s quest to finally do something that is best for her.
Sutton has always been the type of woman who knows exactly what she wants but somewhere along the line, she’s become a shell of the person that she once was. Determined to be carefree for just one night, she lets loose and have a one night stand. It’s only one night right? What could possibly go wrong? Seeing him again in daylight with a business suit on and remembering every single thing that he did to you behind closed doors is what.
Being asked to run a new project in the Virgin Islands is the type of escape and relaxation that Sutton has been craving. Getting to do what she loves while proving she can handle a project this size means the world to her and she has no intention of messing that up. But when fate has other plans that involves her spending time with the one person she’s desperately trying to forget, her problems become a complicated mess.
I love how this series is coming together and I’m excited to see who the next books are going to be about. My only complaint is that I think things moved too fast for the main characters and things felt rushed especially towards the end. I needed them to have more one on one time together and I think if we had that, I would've loved this even more.
If you’re like me and you love this author’s writing, then I think you're going to enjoy this new series.

I already know the first one has stolen my heart and the heroine’s too. Smart, sexy and full of emotions, get ready for Last Resort and the addicting start to Kristy’s brand-new series!
As I said, Last Resort is the first installment in Bromberg’s new series called S.I.N. And this one is focused on the younger Sharpe twin, Callahan Sharpe. Enter Sutton Pierce. Sutton is going through some changes and she feels ready for them after having the best sex of her life with a complete stranger. But what happens when your new job (that can help you win the promotion you’ve been waiting for) is in danger because your new boss happens to be the stranger you met the night before? Kristy told us this series would be even steamier than others and she is not wrong. These two BURN the pages when they are together in the same room. Holy moly, what an amazing couple! I absolutely adored Sutton and Callahan, they just click in a very especial way and it’s impossible to miss their connection from start to finish. I loved seeing them being vulnerable and peeling many of the layers that made their relationship even more beautiful to read. That forbidden chemistry turns into so much more and I just loved seeing this couple get their happy ending.
I just want him. More of him. All of him. Endless amounts of him.
Therefore, I am rating Last Resort with 5 STARS because it’s the perfect start to this brand-new series and make old and new readers fall in love with K. Bromberg’s incredible writing and characters. I love how she keeps giving us steam but without forgetting the importance of being vulnerable and showing emotions. Sutton and Callahan are so good together and I am sure many will love their beautiful love story. Guys, don’t miss this and start the S.I.N series as soon as you can!

nah...I'm obviously in a book funk, people...
I pick the obvious choices and yet they fail me in an unpleasant way...I feel empty, not even disappointed but just...empty, dried out of any emotion...
I have nothing to share, I got nothing from the characters, the story was...I don't know, just like smth you have seen/read over and over and over and it's so ran out you can see through it...
so, it's transparent in such a way you get nothing...well, I got nothing...
I hope I get out of this well of emptiness pretty soon, cause I might really misjudge and miss out on smth possibly good...if not great!

Loved it
"Oh fu..." (and a little gasp) was my reaction to the first chapter, and I immediately knew that I was going to be in for a devourable read, the kind where you sit back and enjoy the show. And this is definitely that. I binged this in one sitting with zero regrets - the story is tense, chemistry-filled, and like a sexy cat and mouse chase. It's a SIZZLE to slow burn, in that this couple starts with a HOT one night stand before discovering that they'll be working together. I loved that the emotional connection built slow and steady throughout the story, with our playboy hero off-balance the entire time. He's never had to work hard for a girl, but he finds himself drawn to the heroine in a way that's undeniable. It reads quickly, easily held my attention the whole way through, and has me very very excited for future interconnected standalones in the series.
The story follows Sutton, a woman who realizes that she's been putting her own needs after her boyfriend's. When she finally does one thing for herself - accept a promotion - it's the end of that relationship. On the rebound, Sutton meets a sexy stranger at a bar and soon finds herself going up to his room. They both know they'll have one night only, no names are exchanged, and the night makes Sutton feel empowered... until she walks into a meeting the next day and sees the man she just spent the night with. Well... three of him. Turns out, that sexy stranger is a triplet who runs a business with his brothers, and Sutton has just been tasked with consulting on a project. As the chemistry continues to spark between Sutton and her one night stand, she realizes that the dynamic needs to change. There's no way she'll be respected professionally if she knowingly sleeps with the boss, but denying the chemistry is impossible.
Bromberg is an easy one-click author for me, so I was excited to dig into this new series and see what it's all about. The vibe reminded me of the Wicked Ways duet (my favorite from her), with a ZAP of connection, tons of banter, a slow build in intimacy, and heated moments in nearly every interaction. Each book will follow one of the triplets, and I can't wait to get to know the other two better. This made quite the first impression, wasting zero time getting right into the action. I loved the intensity of that first steamy scene, and it certainly cemented the chemistry between these two. Our hero doesn't know how to handle what he's feeling, and watching him struggle was so much fun. He undergoes a great transformation throughout the book, making their happily ever after fulfilling. The subtle shifts in their relationship kept this feeling tense and sexy for most of the story - entirely bingeable and compelling.
Audio note: The audio was excellent! Stella Hunter and Aaron Shedlock both do a great job, with performances that showcase the chemistry and emotion. Their voices are both easy to listen to, the overall quality is solid, and the dual narration enhanced the reading experience. The runtime is under 8 hours, so it's easy to finish in one day (or one sitting, if you're like me, lol). Not necessarily a book that I would recommend for a workday listen - the heat starts quickly, and there are sexually charged interactions throughout. But this was a really good audio experience, and I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Pulsating. Mind-blowing. Satisfying. These are a few words to describe the first book in the S.I.N. Series by author K. Bromberg. Now that I finished reading, the book hangover begins till the next SIN read.
Bromberg's quality of writing hooked me from page one and has me begging for book two in the series. Who am I kidding, I'm begging for the entire series! The words, characters and storyline all bring this masterpiece to life- because as you read you can't help but feel everything!

Sutton is a consultant, and her firm is going to be working for the Sharpe brothers. When she meets them, she is shocked to find that they are identical triplets, and she was with one of them the night before. But which one? Is it Fordham, Ledger, or Callahan? They never traded names, it was only supposed to be one night. They were never going to see each other again. As fate would have it, her best laid plans are not turning out the way she planned. Can Sutton get past this and be the professional she's always been, keeping him at arm's length, or will he break down her walls and make them both realize they are destined to be together.
This is classic Bromberg! It's a great story. It has the sexiness we've come to expect, there is banter between Collins and Johnny (love these nicknames), it's got angst between the brothers, and the love of a father who loved his wife so much, he wanted to see his promise to her come true. This story brings the brothers closure and a closeness and bond that can't be severed. It made me laugh and cry several times.

Last Resort by K. Bromberg is the first book of the S.I.N. Series and this is Sutton and Callahan‘s story.
Sutton was miserable in her relationship and finally decides to end it and she has a one night stand. Now she can actually focus more on herself and her job brings her the opportunity to work in a hotel on the Virgin Islands and this change of scenery is everything she needs. At the same time she isn’t there alone and her clients are no other than the Sharpe brothers and one of them keeps her company on the island. Sutton is an amazing character and I love her.
Callahan is one of the Sharpe brothers and the brothers are a bit estranged and I liked to learn more about their family and already can’t wait for the other books in this series. Callahan is such a fine man and totally a new bookboyfriend.
Sutton and Callahan are such a power couple and they work together so well. I especially liked that Sutton doesn’t give in easily and Callahan really has to show her why they should be together. The sparks between them are fire and the banter was everything and created an even better tension between them. The steamy scenes are stunning and at the same time there are sweet moments like at the end.
Overall, Last Resort is everything and more and one of my new absolute favorites. It just has everything from amazing characters, a paradise setting and all the chemistry. 5 stars.

This was such a clever book. I loved the chemistry right off the charts, it hits the ground running so to speak. The characters were relatable. Sutton and Callahan were too damaged souls, looking for love but for some reason, kept blocking their progress in life. Their love story is so sweet, funny and romantic. You'll enjoy this read.
I also loved Lizzy, the best friend, she reminded me a ton of my girlfriend. We all need that one friend that can give us the honest unsolicited opinion of ourselves. You know the opinion you didn't ask for but it applies nonetheless.
I really loved the HEA it made the ending that much sweeter.

When she walks into the boardroom the next day she comes face to face with the man she spent the night with, well three of them. Turns out that her consulting job is with Sharpe International and there are three brothers, triples to be exact. She doesn't know which brother she spent the night with.

5 Star review of Last Resort (S.I.N. #1) by K Bromberg
Having read a number of book by K.Bromberg I was excited when I heard she had a new series releasing. This book was everything I was hoping for and so much more. If Last Resort is anything to go by then Ms.Bromberg has another winning series on his hands.
One night stands are supposed to be just that, one night. Imagine Sutton’s shock when she walks into a meeting to find Callahan Sharpe, the charismatic, dominant man who she just spent a passionate, steamy night with.
I read this one in almost one go as I had a hard time putting this one down. Her writing is so descriptive that I could easily picture the Virgin Islands whilst reading. Callahan is such a complex man, a man of many layers and I fell for him hard and fast. I particularly enjoyed the push and pull dynamic as their relationship progressed. It drew me in and refused to let me go until the last chapter.
I cannot wait to read more about the Callahan brothers. This book is a little gem, one click I don’t think you will be disappointed.

One night stands are supposed to be just that, one night. Imagine Sutton’s shock when she walks into a meeting to find Callahan Sharpe, the charismatic, dominant man who she just spent a passionate, steamy night with.
I read this one in almost one go as I had a hard time putting this one down. Her writing is so descriptive that I could easily picture the Virgin Islands whilst reading. Callahan is such a complex man, a man of many layers and I fell for him hard and fast. I particularly enjoyed the push and pull dynamic as their relationship progressed. It drew me in and refused to let me go until the last chapter.
I cannot wait to read more about the Callahan brothers. This book is a little gem, one click I don’t think you will be disappointed.

A one night stand couldn't be further from the type of person Sutton is. After being urged to do something for herself she went all out and it was totally worth it. No names, no strings, no mess.....until they meet again the next day for a work project!! GAH!
The kicker? He's an identical triplet and Sutton has NO CLUE who "he" is!!!

It’s always a good sign when you finish a book with tears of happiness in your eyes, right? That’s what happened with the first in the S.I.N. Series from K. Bromberg. Spoiler alert: there is always a HEA when the characters are this good.

When her BFF has a come-to-Jesus talk with her and makes her promise to do just one thing for herself she rises to the task… but she has no idea what she’s gotten herself into when she walks into that conference room. Will she prove to herself that she deserves everything she has always dreamed of or will she settle?
Enter Callahan. Consummate bachelor, king of one night stands, favorite son, resented brother. He never expected to see her again yet there she was accepting a job where he would be forced to work alongside her when all he wants is to be inside her again. Can he prove himself to his brothers and fulfill his dad’s final wish or will he be selfish and ensure this is his last resort?
I had so many tummy flips reading the teasing banter between these two, the memories of that night, the intensity of how hard it was to keep things professional… then the heart wrenching scenes of how things between the brothers got to be so bad and the secrets kept to get to the final endgame. This was so well written with just enough physical intimacy in all the right places. The vulnerability and emotional connection Sutton & Callahan shared pulled at the heartstrings and I can’t wait for the next installment.

Last Resort is hands down one of K. Bromberg's best books! The story was refreshing and nothing like anything I've ever read and I loved every single page!
Bromberg brought the heat in this book! Sutton and Callahan had unbelievable chemistry from the moment they met and it did not fizzle at any point. There was so much sexual tension throughout the book that when they finally gave in, fireworks. And can we talk about that little game of cat and mouse they were playing? LOVED every minute. Add that with their flirty banter, sit back with some popcorn, and have fun watching the fireworks. But while this was happening, both Sutton and Callahan were growing as people. Sutton blossomed before our eyes. She became this confident, bold woman who finally found her worth. As Callahan was unknowingly falling for Sutton, she helped him see he was more than he ever gave himself credit for and more than what is brothers have ever made him feel. Perfection!

5 S.I.N.fully hot stars for this deliciously spicy Last Resort
What a great start to this series of stand-alones for three extremely sexy brothers 😍 It was the perfect mix of steam, witty banter, intriguing characters, some healthy amount of drama, dynamic plot and altogether - a great romance. Add to that mix the full gamut of emotions - laughter, passion, insecurities, anger, self-doubt, fear, sadness, but above all sweet and beautiful love. And you got yourself another great story to indulge in.
It seemed like a very well used trope - the rich owner of a multimillion dollars corporation and a woman who works for him but it was so well thought and written that I swallowed it in no time.
Both Sutton and Callahan were typical Bromberg characters. A bit insecure heroine who is good at her job and needs a little push to see her worth. And a very attractive, cocky hero who seems very confident and self assured on the outside but who has his vulnerable side and self doubts inside. They were an explosive couple but somehow fit perfectly. I really enjoyed their dynamics, laughed out loud with their witty conversations while they were trying to one up each other, but mostly I was enjoying the whole slow process of them falling for each other. Without even realizing it, through this whole process they managed to show the other their strong sides and boost their confidence. I loved to see their growth through the story and what a perfect match they were at the end.
This was a quick read that grabbed my attention from the start and wouldn't let me leave it till I reached the end. And now I'm so curious and eager to see what the other two brothers would be up to and who is going to be their match. A very promising beginning to this S.I.N.fully sexy series 🥰
