To be honest, I didn't read this book, exactly. I read a book called "Eurooppaopas" by some Finnish writers, but I couldn't find it on Goodreads. But anyway, the book provided information about all the European countries, though it was from 2006, so some of the information was old. But I am really interested in that topic so I enjoyed reading it.

Planning a trip to Europe with my family, I used this book to get an overview and figure out an itinerary. It was fantastic for this purpose. It has a bunch of suggested itineraries and lists of highlights for each country. The colour photos are helpful and most of the info is useful. Some of it's out of date but that's a perennial problem with print guide books. Pretty much all accommodation has free wifi nowadays so looking up details on the net is easy enough once you've made the rough decisions on where to go. One minor thing - the maps are good but there's a distinct lack of map references in some cases.
