This is more of a study guide than anything. If you have questions about the Christian faith this could be a good book to answer both simple and complex questions. This guide contains 12 major lessons that can be completed under an hour, explanations of Christian views on each topic, real-life use of biblical truth, etc.
It provides core teachings which will challenge you whether you are a new believer, veteran believer, or if you are just looking for a stronger foundation in your faith.
Each lesson is easy to read, and the author includes personal experiences, thoughts, or beliefs. This makes it seem less of a "lecture" type novel, and more of a relatable read. While learning from this book you will find yourself more drawn in with the author's easy-going nature that is so clearly exposed within the pages.
Each chapter has insightful questions, answers, and even books to further your studies.
All in all I felt this was a really easy book to read, follow, and study. It would make a great study guide for yourself or for an entire church discussion group.
In the ever changing world there are many beliefs and many questions to be answered. What better way to further our knowledge that further our studies? And this is a really great book for that. I liked the way it was laid out, worded, simplified, and knowledgeable.
It pretty much applies to everyone whether you are Christian, non-believer, or even someone from another faith. This is a great to ask those questions that we are all curious about from time and again. "What is death?" "What is hell?" "What is heaven?" and those are just a few.
The author doesn't beat you down with a lecture to where you may find yourself judged or frustrated, but keeps things flowing smoothly so everyone can enjoy. To me this is a great way to get others to want to learn more about God's word and Christianity.

What You Need to Know About Bible Prophecy
By Max Anders

I really enjoyed this book. It is set up as a bible study in 12 lessons. There is a section at the beginning of the book that tells you how to teach the book if you were leading a bible study. The chapters are short enough to read in one sitting and then there are questions at the end. For Further Thought and For Further Study sections are included at the end of each chapter as well.
I think this book would be better in a group setting as opposed to studying it alone unless you already know a lot about the Bible. It does a good job of explaining what it is talking about in each section, but I think it would be beneficial to have others to talk to and discuss the book with as you go along. The best part of the book is the Why I Need to Know This box in each chapter. It makes the material relevant to me and in today’s time. I received this book free from Thomas Nelson in exchange for a book review

What You Need to Know About Bible Prophecy is a book with 12 lessons that can be taught in a Bible class, Sunday School or personal Bible Study. The book has a “who, what, where, when and why” feel to it. Why study prophecy and what is the big picture? It is also presented with differing viewpoints commonly believed by different faiths, and presented in a neutral manner. This is not a fluff study, but tends to provoke thought and discussion.

Following each chapter is a review section that I think is one of the best I have seen. Sometimes in the review I try to find an answer, but I am not sure I am correct. These review sections are divided into five subsections. The first, entitled Speed Bump!, is a question and then the answer is provided. Next is a fill in the blank of the same questions and answers. There are also discussion questions, and a section for non-believers to understand how to apply the information. The last is scripture and books for further study.

I received a copy of this book free of charge from the Booksneeze program of Thomas Nelson. It is accepted with the understanding that I will give my honest opinion of the book.

This is non-intimidating and doesn't overwhelm you with details, instead giving you an overview of prophesy. I especially like how different views are presented, especially since I have only been taught the pre-mil, pre-trib view. The endings of each chapter provide review questions and ideas for future study. Excellent series.
