A bounty hunter lost in a town of vampires. What could go wrong?
Being the protective older sister was a badge that was imposed upon me. I didn’t choose it. But Jonas did, every time he would get in trouble.
This time was no different. He steals from a drug dealer, who wants just one the vampire prince’s ring. And guess who has to go fetch it?
My dark adventure starts at Bluderry, the Academy of the Arcane. A human can enter this place only as a snack. Luckily, the gypsies bought me some time to roam around and find what I need.
But when I do find it, I will leave much of myself behind. My virginity. My mind. And most importantly, my heart.
Dare I go back for it, or will the dark prince come for me?
Hunted By The Vampire Prince is a standalone Paranormal Romance with a HEA and NO cheating!
Alice is a human portraying herself as a vampire so she can steal a ring from the vampire king. She needs it to assure her brother will be okay.
She goes into the Academy, a place where vampires train- and is immediately spotted by Cassius, the vampire king. She hasn't been outed as a human, but she was put through some tests. They don't fight their attraction for long.
I liked it, but I was a little bored and skimmed in places. Three stars.

When her selfish brother, Jonas, gets himself in trouble once again, he dumps his problem on his older sister. Alice is the one who is stuck appeasing the drug dealer he has stolen from. She will need to now steal a ring from the finger of the vampire Prince Cassius at Bluderry, the Academy of the Arcane, vampire training school. She is a bounty hunter, not a vampire. So this is dangerous territory for her, even with help from the gypsies to hide her humanity. And it doesn’t take long for the powerful Cassius to know she is human, not vampire. He stands at the top of a staircase, all eyes on him, and points right at Alice! Two thugs grab her and take her away. She is locked in a room with a dark hole in the center. The Vampire Prince arrives and shoves her into the hole. She has until dawn to figure out how to get out or she will die.
The next morning, she has figured it out. Cassius had seen the fear in her eyes but, unlike most, her fear is not crippling her. And it is different from the fear the others have. She is observant and alert and something is different from the others which intrigues him. A fire burns inside her and he wants it to continue. He gives her two hours to rest, then tells her she will fight him in the arena – which is normally not done until the newcomer has 3 months of training. There is no one else there in the arena as they fight. When he presses her up against the wall, making sure her arms and legs are immobile, she finally spots the ring she needs on his finger. And suddenly his lips are on hers! His grip loosens as they kiss; she could get free; but she doesn’t, until he ends it. His eyes are wide and surprised as if he can’t make sense of it either. Then he calmly walks away.
She will end up making a sacrifice along the way to completing her mission – it will cost her virginity and perhaps her heart. But does he feel the same about her? So much will happen as lies and truths all come out. Can they have a HEA? Or will this be a painful end for them?
Not 100% interested in reading this—I might in the future—but it sounds a lot like Michelle Hercules' Dark Prince?
Dark Prince by Michelle Hercules
There are only two ways a human can cross the gates of Bloodstone Institute: as a familiar to one of the Blueblood vampires who attend the elite school or as a snack.
I’m neither, but I have to get in at all costs. My brother made a big mistake, and now I have to fix it by stealing from the most powerful and cruel vampire to ever come to Bloodstone, Lucca Della Morte. If that wasn’t almost suicidal, I need to get it done before the spell concealing my human nature wears off.
But I forget that I’m only pretending to be a vampire. I’m still human and susceptible to Lucca’s dangerous allure. His darkness calls to my soul. His savagery makes my blood sing. I’m falling for the dark prince, craving him in a visceral way that’s frightening and exciting at the same time.
If he discovers my secret, he’ll destroy me. And yet, I can’t help wanting to get closer. I never thought I had a death wish until I met him.

A bounty hunter lost in a town of vampires. What could go wrong?

Dare I go back for it, or will the dark prince come for me?
Once again, Alice is cleaning up one of her brother’s messes. But this cleanup is much harder than normal – she must steal the ring off Cassius, the vampire prince who runs the Academy of the Arcane. To do this, Alice must enroll as a student, hide her human-ness, and hope that her skills as a bounty hunter will help her fit in. But when Cassius becomes more to her than expected, will she be able to get the job done?
This book really drew me in from the beginning. Alice is such a strong character – both physically and mentally. I found myself really rooting for her throughout the book. Cassius is well-loved at the academy yet broken at his core – distracting himself from his own feelings by throwing himself into academy affairs. He is prime book boyfriend material.
This is an engaging read for fans of dark academia, vampires, and badass FMCs, who aren’t afraid of some spice!
Special thanks to the author for the ARC. All thoughts in this review are honest and my own.
This is the first book I've read by the author and I'm so glad I've found them. I was captivated right from the beginning, couldn't put it down just needed to know what was going to happen next. Alice and Cassius are both strong with a lot of love to give, even if that's hard for some to see including themselves. The bounty hunter and the vampire, find themselves falling for one another in this thrilling story which complicates things...or will it? Read to find out, there's some twists along the way that will definitely keep you turning the pages! Enjoy.

I have never read so much that said so little. Endless regurgitation of the same sentiments. Nearly halfway through and I can't tell you much of anything meaningful about either main character. I have no idea what motivates them or how they fit into their own world because, as with character development, the world building is non-existent.
I'm grasping for something insightful to say, which is just a further waste of my time. My TBR is too long to push myself further because I'm bored and don't even want these two to get their HEA. I hope the vampires eat all the humans.
Jonas is not a good brother, he is selfish and takes dangerous gambles, he always expects his sister to get him out of trouble. This time it is serious trouble and to save his life his sister has to get a ring from a vampire prince. She infiltrates Bluderry, the Academy of the Arcane with the help of a gypsy salve to disguise her humanity.
Will she save him, or be detected? Read to learn her fate and that of her brother.
I recommend this book.

Absolutely love vampire books hence me reading 'Hunted By The Vampire Prince.' The storyline and plot for Cassius & Alice held my attention from the 1st line to the last line. If you love a romance that is erotic, steamy & has a small town vibe with then I would highly recommend reading this book. Worth 5 stars.

This book was sweet with a small undercurrent of suspense. The HEA took awhile to show itself but about halfway through the book it started to look like a forgone conclusion. Although, I think this book could have been about any species of supernatural creature, the vampire worked quite well. Especially since the reader made the vampire more human in a way since they can blend in. Well done.

First time reading this author and I must say this was a great book. I love how she would risk everything for her brother. Nikki Grey has written about the ups and down that siblings face, but then there was a beautiful love story twined in and forgiveness at the end. Will be following and reading more from this author now.

This was an unusual paranormal, suspense romance. It had a great HEA, but the way the storyline got there was different than other vampire stories I’ve read. There’s a bit of steam, too, so 18+ appropriate. It’s well written, with a couple of secondary characters that I could see getting their own stories. If you like vampires, this is a good story for you to read.
Not my favorite. Writing was okay but the story was too sappy to be tolerable. No real action just a bounty Hunter trying to save her brother and how she tricks probably the dumbest vampire I have ever read about and his part ware wolf best friend. A bit too sappy for my taste.

Alice is strong badass FMC she is a bounty hunter trying to protect her brother Jonas from drug dealers he has gotten into trouble with. But what Alice through would be a quick in and out mission is anything but as she didn’t plan on meeting The Vampire Prince himself Cassius!
This is a great love story I loved how Alice and Cassius relationships develops over time. There is a lot of action and twists and turns in this story to keep is fast paced.
I highly recommend this book. If you love vampires and happily ever afters. This is a good read!
This story tells of a young woman that was going into a vampire kingdom to still his ring and give to another to save her brother from death, only she heard what she must do for she has lost her heart to the king of vampires and so the journey starts.I would like to say thank for all your hard work and may fortune smile 😃on you always 😁from a bookworm
This was my first Nikki Grey novel. I wasn't disappointed. Deliciously dark and sinful. Great characters, and a well written storyline. Would recommend. Cannot wait for the next book.

A story that will keep you not only on the edge of your seat but wishing for a romance just like this. The characters are real and have flaws that are endearing.I recommend this book to everyone! I couldn't put it down until I finished.
Hunted b the Vampire Prince: Dark Academy Romance (Vampire Royalty)
This was a really good story. The characters are great too with all the ups and downs that usually come in a relationship. I recommend this ok as a good read for everyone.
Hmmm, seems I've run into another sweet but way too short/abrupt paranormal story. It was fin, but not gripping enough - & of course, could have been longer. But it was sweet for what it was.
I so wanted this to be a 4 star read but it wasn't for me. Just a rehashed enemies to lovers story but with a vampire who was a little to human.Very predictable.
