Johnny “Thunder” Thunderbird, a Lakota American Indian, has been tasked with designing and opening an American Indian Cultural Center in South Florida built to teach non-natives about their history and culture. Isabel “Isa” Gonzalez, a Cuban legal immigrant, has caught Thunder’s eye and he is willing to beg, tease, dry-clean her clothes, and even embarrass himself just to get a date with her. Their relationship is hot and tumultuous with a lot of twists and turns. Can these two very different people from different walks of life make it work in this ever changing world?
