this book is so so huge and important. it's really special to read in a group, its challenging, its encouraging, and it pushed me to lean into the gifts i was given. i of course came into it quite wary, but was quickly floored by the way the opening part demolishes any mindset you might have coming in. which is a good good thing! we need to be demolished every now and then. at least i know i do.

there are quite a few things, i will say, that they definitely just made up. like they make a lot of sense, and you can technically back them up biblically, but it's a stretch. like the capacities and the core weaknesses and such. do i think these things are wrong or bad? no, i learned a lot from considering them and seeing how they applied to my life. but i do think its worth saying that they arent necessarily in the bible. i digress.

all in all, READ THIS BOOK!!! they have a masculinity one as well thats probably good too idk im not a man so i haveny read it. but like, get a group of girls together, read this book, talk about it, talk about your background, challenge eachother, its so special.

This is AMAZING! I put my highlighter to work, that’s for sure. This book has influenced my biblical view of what it means to be a woman immensely and I am so thankful for it.

What a gift God has made us in him image! this book helped remind me of that. Glad I did this with my community group.
