Elizabeth Ludwig is an accomplished speaker and teacher, often attending conferences where she lectures on editing for fiction writers, crafting effective novel proposals, and conducting successful editor/agent interviews. Good mystery but not my favorite storyline of the series. I would have liked a little more resolution to the mystery. The ending seemed a little abrupt to me. Still an enjoyable read in a series I really enjoy!

Mercy’s Healing by Elizabeth Ludwig is an enjoyable read. A good mystery. A connected plot with great backstory. This novel explores more than just mysterious happenings at Mercy Hospital. Ludwig’s words are meaningful. The reader discovers the variations of love and their degrees. This story shows the need for forgiveness, both of the self and of each other.

Anne Mabry, the pastor’s wife, volunteers at Mercy Hospital. Now she’s covering for the head of the volunteers at the hospital while the woman is away. And of course, there are problems. Tension is necessary for any story. For Mabry, there is tension at home with her granddaughter and at work with the volunteers and the people she meets surrounding Olivia Newcombe, a cancer patient at the hospital. Luckily, Mabry has friends who assist her with the mystery at the hospital.

Ludwig makes the reader care for her characters and their problems. We understand why the characters do the things they do or did. The actions are believable, well thought out.

Mercy’s Healing by Elizabeth Ludwig is a story about the power of love and forgiveness as well as a whodunit. It’s a great story to finish out your summer with. Enjoy!

Loved this book! It held my interest and the ending touched my heart. I’ve read eight of the books in this series and so far this has been my favorite!
