I really liked the stories and historical parts of this book. The recipes that I liked the best are the desserts. I'm not a seafood fan, so that leaves out most of the recipes. I'd love to visit Edisto. It sounds like paradise!

I love restaurant cookbooks, but they don't always have recipes that translate well to the home kitchen, this one does. Has fabulous pork recipes.
