Forever in Bloom: A Remembrance Lullaby

Rate this book
"My big sister is named Poppy.
She lives in a garden among the stars.
I think of her most when I try to fall asleep..." Little Rosebud lives in a colorful garden with her mommy and daddy. But there was one who came before her--her sister, Poppy, who now watches over her from the stars. Join Rosebud as she describes all the ways she can find comfort and feel close to her forever guardian angel. Told from the perspective of the "rainbow baby," this bedtime story combines ideas to honor the "angel baby" with the alphabet. With dreamy illustrations and vivid colors, Forever in Bloom makes for an engaging pathway for difficult conversations about loss with preschool through lower elementary school-aged children.

A story dedicated to their late daughter, Matthew and Gina R. Briggs draw inspiration from their own family's journey of loss and finding the rainbow after the storm. Resources for angel parents are included at the conclusion of the story.
