I really like this series and will be sad when it ends. I have said a few times that a book was my favorite, but I am pretty sure this will end up being my absolute favorite!
I love everything about fall, but am not really a spooky season type of girl. I've never really cared for Halloween, even when I was a kid. But Grace and company had me all in my feels as they navigated a last minute adventure!
I like Grace, but she had me quite exasperated as usual. She has very little self confidence still even though we're six books in. She is still sure that Cole is going to leave her, which really annoyed me as that man has gone out of his way to show her that he is staying the path and will always be someone she can depend on when she really needs it.
Rebekah is my absolute favorite character. Her redemption arc has been amazing to watch and I hope that there will be a spinoff series for her wedding business!
It was wonderful to see Molly and Grant become parents! It was amusing to see Shelley find something she's good at, even though she nearly caused a few heart attacks with her stupid and dangerous stunts. Jilly is a new character and I found myself liking her right off the bat.
I really wanted to give this four stars, but like I said last book, this could really have used another round of proofreading and editing. There was present tense when it should have been past tense. There were punctuation errors, and a few other things that my editor brain can't help wanting to fix!
A few examples: when speaking about men who are engaged, they are referred to as the fiancé. Women who are engaged are referred to as the fiancée.
Men who are blonds have no "e", but women who are blondes do!
B&B should always be capitalized.
There should be quotes at the start of a sentence, and at the end.
Business names should always be capitalized.
