Cassin: Millionaire Monster Daddies Book One

Rate this book
Danny can hardly figure out what he wants to do with his life, let alone who he wants to date. He has just moved into an apartment with his three queer best friends and for the first time they can do whatever they want. What they want to do, is get drunk and go clubbing.

When the friends pre-game then stumble into a bar they've never seen before, they have no way of knowing that they somehow bluffed their way into a super elite, super supernatural millionaires club.

Danny spends the whole night socializing with Cassin, a guy who seems vaguely familiar to him but insists they've never met. Danny goes home with him that night, and when he wakes up in the morning, he realizes that Cassin owns the company that his dad works for--that's where he's seen him.

Cassin seems un-bothered with Danny's... unconventional body... and indeed seems to be obsessed with him in general. The pair get closer and closer until secrets come out that neither of them can ignore...

soaring

💕 My heart soared from chapter 1 of this story as we find Danny admiring his reflection in the mirror. The pride and the confidence that came from watching his body transform as he reclaimed his truth identity. To be able to put aside the disconnection with his assigned gender as he embraced this new feeling of finally being whole.
When Cassin sees him for the first time in his club, his fascination is immediate. Their pull towards each other reaching the depths of their minds, bodies and souls.
But Cassin is a supernatural being and what does that means for their future?

Cassin is the ultimate vampire daddy with one part Edward Cullen, one part Lestat, and one part Christian Gray. Can't wait for part two! Great queer rep.

"Cassin" by August St. Clare was a delightful and unexpected adventure. As a trans man myself, seeing a character like Danny (great name btw) take center stage was nothing short of thrilling. St. Clare brilliantly navigates the complexities of being trans while weaving in elements of urban fantasy, romance, and the uncertainty of young adulthood. The premise of stumbling upon a supernatural club in the heart of Chicago made for a gripping and unpredictable narrative.

The relationship between Danny and Cassin is both tantalizing and touching. Cassin’s character breaks the mold of the stereotypical vampire, showcasing depth and sensitivity, especially in his interactions with Danny. Their dynamics offer a profound exploration of self-acceptance, identity, and the idea that love can transcend physical form. St. Clare's portrayal of dysphoria and the challenges that come with it was genuine and heartfelt. By the end, I was so invested that the cliffhanger left me eagerly awaiting the next installment. For those who love a mix of urban fantasy, romance, and genuine character growth, "Cassin" is a must-read!

Delicious and devious!!

This love at first sight, human x vamp novella was such an enjoyable weekend read. From the moment Cassin, millionaire/executive, meets Danny their growing connection and obsession fuels he🔥t and secrets. The writing style and trans rep is a highlight. The story pulls you in from the start and sets an ominous tone for furture books in the series. I absolutely devoured it! 👏

Intrigued

The story pulls you in and has you at the edge of your seat to abruptly end. I do not like cliffhangers....sigh and I would like to find out how this ends.

This was a quick spicy read. Cassin and Danny were so good together. I really liked the concept of the book, and I can't wait to see what happens in the rest of the series.
