I’ve used this a few times and had good outcomes. Would love to see newer editions have more detailed modules on Sex/Consent and violence against marginalized identities specifically.
Very informative book, the worksheets from this therapy are very helpful for me even though the actual therapy wouldn't be helpful. I would say that this therapy wouldn't work for complex dissociative disorders.
Also a part of the book says that psychopaths don't have PTSD when that is false. ASPD and PTSD are commonly comorbid.
Solid workbook, had similar qualms with it as typical behavioral-only treatment modalities. It could be very very helpful for certain trauma histories, but doesn’t take into account neurodivergence or validate realities of lack of safety in the world
