StefanMagic. As a librarian, Stefan knows there’s magic in books and imagination, but it isn’t until he moves to the mountains of North Carolina that he realizes people can come with magic too…well, the locals at least seem to come with magic…and fascinating relationship dynamics he thought were just on TV and in books.Boyd Dragons. Somehow, the council gave Boyd the job of telling the new librarian that dragons and mages are real. He’s not sure who he pissed off to be the one to scare the adorable librarian into leaving town, but he’s not happy about it. A man as sweet and shy as the town’s new librarian can’t have any idea about what the locals are hiding or what kind of thoughts Boyd has been having about him, can he?When people aren’t as innocent or grumpy as they seem, a curious librarian and a slightly grumpy dragon will learn that love is even stronger when there’s a bit of magic involved.
4,5 stars Secrets and Kisses is the second book in the Blue Ridge Magic series by M.A. Innes!! This is the story of Boyd and Stefan. I loved their story. It was sweet, sexy, full of feels and very well written. Stefan is such a cutie.
Boyd et Stefan Dragon et comptable, Bibliothécaire humain

This was so dang sweet. I really love this new series by M.A. Innes. I thought book 1 about Kenzie and Talon was really good, but this one was even better. Stefan is the new human librarian who notices that things in Blue Ridge are not exactly normal. Boyd, dragon and Daddy, is the one who is chosen to tell Stefan about dragons and mages. It doesn’t hurt that he’s also drawn to the librarian and wants to learn more about him. I thought Stefan and Boyd were really good together although Boyd seemed way grumpier in the previous book. It was very interesting to me the way that they explored Stefan’s Little side. He is very different from Kenzie who was so confident in his kinks. I liked that Stefan was unique. The town is full of a bunch of busy-bodies but they are downright hilarious. I was giggling like a fool at the end when the entire diner thought that Kenzie, Talon, Boyd, and Stefan were talking about having an orgy rather than showing Stefan Kenzie’s dragon. Good stuff. I am very intrigued by Alick and Lorne, especially since Alick is the only human among the original gang of Littles. How did he get close to Kenzie, Boyd, and Lorne? I look forward to returning to this town.
I am a 50 years old vanilla, straight, married (for 37 years) mother and grandmother who is so in love with this series it's scary. I have always believed to each his own in politics, love and life in general. Even if I was slightly homophobic I would still read this series for the shear enjoyment of laughing out loud that I get from almost every page. I enjoy sarcasm and using it to make life less stressful just as this author does in every way with this series. Even the sex scenes have a humorous undertone that makes the entire "scene" worth reading. This is a lighthearted and easy pick me up read after a long week at life. The premise is just crazy enough to lose yourself in but gives you the insight to understand the lessons of trust and unconditional love expressed by the main characters. But my favorites are the nosey townspeople. I live and work in the shadow of the Blue Ridge Mountain Range and let me tell you, this characterization is spot on. As an "outsider" who moved here from Southern New Jersey, I can relate to believing most of the town must be aliens...lol!
Stefan is a human and the librarian at Blue Ridge and has started to realise that people can come with magic and that some of them have relationship dynamics he thought were only in books and films. Dragon shifter Boyd has been given the job by the council to explain to Stefan that Mages and Dragons are real but he doesn't want to scare the adorable librarian. When people aren’t as innocent or grumpy as they seem, a curious librarian and a slightly grumpy dragon will learn that love is even stronger when there’s a bit of magic involved.
I loved this book with Stefan who was inquisitive and Boyd who was cautious but determined to care for Stefan. They were a match made in heaven. I loved the way that the other residents of the town got involved and the way that the littles asked questions, interfered and generally tried to help. I smiled and laughed through most of the book as the side characters were just hilarious. Easy to read, feel and understand. This is an MM story with mature content and BSDM-like DDLB and D/s dynamics.
This book is so utterly adorable and super sugary sweet! I was stressed and this was just the perfect gentle read I needed to lift my mood and calm my mind. The first book in this series was cute as well, but Stefan in this spoke to my heart. I just want to hug him and ask if I can work with him at the library. lol What a fun setting this is. Also, one of the best written ABDL scenes I've read. I'm no expert since it's not really my thing, but I do read a lot of daddy/boy books so it's comes up time to time and this, obviously very subjective, was so well done. The only issue I have is I don't always realize when the characters are adult or little. All of the littles sound like they're little to me 99% of the time and with four of them that's a lot. It's crazy cute and fun, but I did have to take a break at one point and read a bit of another book so I could some "adult" conversation. lol That is literally the only thing I can find that isn't wonderful about this book, though and I can't wait for the next one.
Stefan knows that there is something "unique" about the little town he's settled in as the head librarian - more specifically, something paranormal (I mean, floating library patrons and being referred to as "human" are kind of a dead giveaway). And then there's the three Littles that have decided that he's one of them and can be very persistent (aka pushy and over sharing) in trying to set him up with the sexy younger Daddy, Boyd. Boyd is wonderfully patient and sweet once he makes his move and I had to giggle as they try to navigate their budding relationship with everyone butting in and Kenzie being, well ... Kenzie! You really need to start at the beginning to meet all the secondary characters in this book, but they're all so wonderful that it's not a hardship at all. I really loved this latest visit to the town where dragons and Daddies and Littles go hand in hand and I'm definitely looking forward to future books. I kind of wish I could move there myself! 5/5*
Another enjoyable story from a small town I would love to move to. Stefan is the adorable new librarian who does notice that not everyone in this town is human and then he finds out there are dragons(yay!!!)and mages and that two of his crazy friends is also a dragon and that the man he is very attracted to, Boyd, is also a dragon and also proves to be his mate. There is so much humor in this story with the nosiest neighbors in the world who comment on everyone's business even in the diner and who come to the library to check on Stefan. I was glad that the mages who wanted to claim him were not dangerous when he of course was claimed by the dragons. The final scene where Stefan gets to ride Boyd and then they make love was so fun and swoon. Looking foreward to the next book in this series.
Secrets and kisses is the second book in the series but it can be read as standalone. Although I think it's more fun if you read them in order. We are in a small town where Dragons and mages live amongst humans in secret. Stefan is new in town, human and a librarian. Boyd, his love interest is a dragon. I found Stefan very relatable. I liked his love for books and I loved his imagination. Boyd was wonderful and caring and very respectful. They had fantastic chemistry. I also liked that we learned a few more things about dragon lore. And there was a scene with Kenzie and Talon ( the characters from book 1) that was so funny, it had me giggling. Sweet, fun and fast paced. I had a great time reading it.
Love, love, love. I think I enjoyed this one even more than the first as I just found something deeply comforting in the dynamic between Stefan and Boyd. I'm a lot more like Stefan than I am Kenzie (though Stefan and I both wish we had some of Kenzies confidence) so maybe that's why I found so much joy in his character. Having created a couple that had a very diffirent dynamic then the first also shows M.A. Innes excellent range. I think my only note was that I thought hordes among dragon's would be a universal thing, with little dragon's just being more obvious about it of course, but there was no mention of Boyd having any kind of horde or collection. That said I can't wait for the next book and where precious Lorne will get his mates. Waiting until Febuary will be torture.
Stefan is the new town librarian. Boyd is the dragon tasked with telling Stefan about the unique people of their small town.
These two were so special together. I loved how Boyd was always careful regarding Stefan's newness to everything, doing his best to be clear to avoid confusion and make Stefan comfortable. I also enjoyed that Stefan is a reader with a love of learning.
I loved the world these books are set in. It's sweet and fun with very nosy and helpful friends. It was great seeing Kenzie again. He's definitely the main trouble maker regarding nosy and helpful. This is a super happy, easy, feel good read. Happily recommend.
These two are funny with all of their frustrations. I swear the other residents in town need to get hobbies or someone is going to verbally explode. I love how crazy everyone is and how the most innocent thing can be misunderstood in the dirtiest way.
Our guys have a lot going against them, but also a lot going for them. Our stubborn dragon and our Mr. Librarian are perfect for each other even if there are lots of questions and clarification needed.
I liked this book. It didn't suck me in as much as the first book, but I still had a good time with all the shenanigans.
Oh man! Stefan and Boyd stole my heart. I enjoy all of this author’s characters but some sink in deeper than others. These two really resonated with me. And then there is the town. Now that’s a place I wish I could go to. Yes they are very nosy but the intentions are good. Two of my favorite places are in here. The diner and the library are great. The only thing missing is a used book store and an antique store. I’d never want to leave. Man I can’t wait for more. And with those covers, I can’t wait to see them on my shelf.
The Blue Ridge Magic series is so much fun. The humor continues in this one, though Stefan and Boyd are also very sweet together. I like the way Stefan analyzes things and tends to let his thoughts take over, and I appreciate the was that Boyd loves that about him. This one does include ageplay, but it's different from what Kenzie and Talon share. I like how unafraid Stefan is of Boyd's dragon from the very beginning, and their snuggling is adorable. I enjoyed this romance and look forward to the next book in this entertaining series.
Thank you for the ARC read, I voluntarily give this book an honest review. Stefan's version of identifying someone is hilarious and summed up the town perfectly. Because it an adorable little close knit community of uniqueness. With Boyd the grumpy guts, its know wonder the littles was taking matters in their own hands about Mr. Librarian on the playdate even if Kenzie, Alick and Lorne had to pull him there.
This was a really cute and fun book, set in a small town where 75% of the population are either dragon shifters or mages, and a lot are also kinky!
Definitely read book 1 first!
In this you'll find: ✨MM romantasy ✨Contemporary near fantasy world ✨Grumpy dragon shifter accountant Daddy Dom ✨Shy human librarian ✨Interfering Littles ✨Age play inc diapers ✨Mates ✨Use of Master as BDSM honorific ✨Small town ✨A HEA
Being new to town, Stefan quickly realises things are not as it seems and there more to the town residents than he knows. Boyd, is tasked to help Stefan move on but Stefan has been also discovered by the littles in town and Stefan is about to make a lot of new discoveries.
A fun read about paranormal beings, dragon Daddies , human littles and magic that surrounds them. I absolutely enjoyed this book, but it’s best read in order.
I loved this, really loved it. This is a very carefree love story no angst, no baddies, no traumas, but a very solid tale. M.A. Innes again delights us with this jewel with unique characters, Daddy/boy dynamics and she adds dragons this time. I was in stitches more than once. Boyd and Stefan work together perfectly and the complete cast of amazing characters escorts us in this journey I heartily recommend this.
This book does such a good job at tackling the big question of "where do I fall" when it comes to new people exploring a more 𝓀𝒾𝓃𝓀𝓎 𝓈𝒾𝒹𝑒 of things! Stefan was just so adorable, even when he was confused about why EVERYONE in town was inviting him to their annual "meeting". His whole journey of figuring out what he liked was so incredibly sweet as well. And Boyd?? Can someone say new book boyfriend?? The way he was so incredibly patient with sweet Stefan was EVERYTHING 🫠
I love this book. I feel for Boyd. The Littles are gonna drive him crazy. Stefan is adorable though he can’t handle waiting for presents lol. I’m glad he’s learning what works for him and not trying to conform to what everybody else does. And Lord, this town is nosy lmao. The final diner scene with Kenzie and Talen made me laugh so hard I almost couldn’t breathe. Can’t wait to read the next book.
I absolutely loved this story and I am absolutely loving this series. This story was all about Boyd and his wonderful librarian. These two were so cute together and I loved how Boyd was so patient with him. You definitely need to read the first book first because we see the same lovable characters in this one. I can’t wait to read the next story.
Brilliant series. When Stefan took the job as librarian he was happy for a change in his life. Only problem was he didn't expect the townsfolk to be so different. Boyd had his eyes on Stefan, but it takes Kenzie's interfering to bring them together. Love how Stefan has questions, many of them, and how Boyd just takes it in his stride. Brilliant book thoroughly enjoyed
You know when you read some books and you just know right away that you don't ever want the book to end? This series is going to be those books. Hilarious characters, lots of laughter, and daddies who love their littles. I feel like I could read these books over and over and still want to read more stories about the dragons and mages who find their mates in this quirky little town.
I loved this story. I loved Boyd & Stefan’s interactions and what they do to each other. Stefan is such a cute geeky little and he finds his perfect mate with Boyd the dragon. You’ll have so many emotions in this book but they will all be good ones. I can’t wait for the next book to come out.
Oh, I loved this book as much as the first one. It is written with confidence and so much humour. I found myself chuckling at so many points in the story. Boyd and Stephan are so perfect for each other in this magical Blue Ridge town. I can't wait to read more in this series.
How adorable. This town is full of magic. Stefan and Boyd have been watching each other from a distance for a while but the time has come for that to end. Our shy and quiet librarian may have found the perfect Daddy for himself. These dragons are something else! And a little bit crazy and a whole lot of fun.
This book makes you feel alllll the warm fuzzy feelings. Dragons, mages, and humans what could go wrong. I loved seeing Boyd find his mate. Mr. Librarian is perfect for him.
This series is so cute and funny. The townspeople are hilarious, they're so nosy and the dragons are wonderful. Boyd and Stefan are just as good together as Talon and Kenzie in the first book. I can't wait to find out who's next.
Like I said, the dragon shenanigans just get better. I love the kooky cast of wonderful side characters in this town. This is a super fun, light hearted, steamy and spicy series with some adorable ageplay.
This wonderful amusing series continues with the grumpy Boyd wooing his shy Mr. Librarian, Stefan. They are very sweet together & the rest of the boys (especially Kenzie) are around creating havoc with their hilarious conversations and questions for poor Stefan.
