i mean the art is just so beyond good and the pacing is so good and wow god sure the plot is a little silly but that’s what he does best

I loved the first volume, but this was an awful bait-and-switch. The little guys are barely in this after the first chapter, and it becomes another generic alien invasion/resistance story focusing on an entirely new, unrelated, and uninteresting character. The world doesn't need another one of those stories. What we need is more of the little guys!!

Every time they do the joke where there is an ultra-serious alien invasion plot going on with huge emotional stakes and then someone looks over and sees three little anime guys and goes 'huh?' it gets me. I am a simple man.

Variant bellissima ma contenuto quasi nullo.
Rispetto al primo questo volume mi ha deluso moltissimo.

Spero si riprenda nel terzo e questo sia semplicemente un filler per far conoscere meglio le dinamiche.

A lot of fun. Art is work is great to look at. Strong resemblance to Gantz (another reviewer pointed this out and it's hard to disagree). How will humanity defeat the aliens? How will the sister be rescued? Ridiculous and enjoyable.

OK! There's definitely more action in this volume, even if we spend almost the entire time away from the ostensible protagonists of the story. I'll keep reading!

I’m still on the fence with this series. It’s interesting, but at the same time I feel it a bit slow or boring at times. It feels like it takes too many panels sometimes for something to happen.

A very quick read! The human resistance begins plans to strike back at the aliens.

I feel like this volume sort of endcaps the introduction and gives us a better idea of what the story will be going forward.
The idea of a human revolt against alien overlords and a new final clincher in the multiverse trio is neat. The idea of having them be gag characters both gives fun art dissonance as well as a nice meta-element to why they are so strong and makes them stand out and easy to tell apart.
The ending has me really looking forward now that a maybe rogue JSDF suicide bombed an alien ship. The “next on” section seems to confirm this with the trio joining Segami, a regular guy now into the underground force Rebellion, becoming a team.
The series seems to take a real effort to humanize the suffering and show the events that lead to people making such large stands or intense action. Both Segami and the JSDF pilot get a lot of background given to them and I hope this idea is explored more going forward.
