How this book only has two written reviews is insane to me.
I got this book on one of the stuff your kindle days, and now I’m upset it took me this long to read it? I started it on a whim since I didn’t know what else to read and how happy I am that I did!!
Nora and SJ are goals. This book was definitely a slow burn, and not nearly as smutty as I’m used too but I enjoyed the hell out of it. Every chapter you can see them falling more and more for each other and the tension was 10/10 😮💨
Adding in a couple of the stalkers POV’s was honestly the cherry on top. It added to show just how truly unhinged he was.
No third act break (but again super slow burn) but I’m happy they stayed together! Dual POV, first person. Which again, is a 10/10.
By 80% I had knots in my stomach because I was scared about what was going to happen! This book truly kept me on my toes. Great side characters and overall, a really sweet love story. Everyone was so kind and I loved that.
I don’t have a single negative thing to say about this book! Always support your indies. They work twice as hard ❤️❤️

Shout out to Stuff Your Kindle Day for bringing this book to my attention! This is creepy and steamy and everything I’m looking for from a romantic suspense! The chapters written from the stalker’s point of view were so chilling. I think if I had any notes it would be that I think they spent a little too long in Sutter Creek. Other than that this was great and I’m excited to continue the series.

Page turner for sure. It reminded me of the walker
Security series as well as the In and Out series by Lisa Rene Jones. Just with less spice. I found the writing very captivating! I would recommend me this someone getting into dark romance! I do look forward to see what is next!

This was a fantastic read! It has a little spice if that’s what you’re looking for, but it is able to stand on its own as a thriller. I was hooked within the first chapter. This is my first time reading from this author but definitely won’t be the last!
