I appreciated the scripture embedded throughout the book! I want to post them around my home. It is traditional, but encouraging. Beautiful reminders for giving yourself and each day back to God in every season.

I loved reading this in the morning after a devotional! I've done several Bible studies by Karen and I just love her wisdom. This book is so helpful in navigating many facets of motherhood and how to be your best self to better pour into your children. Highly recommend!

Some really good, actionable, practical advice. Like any self help book, take the stuff that works for you and don’t stress about the rest!

It wasn’t awful but it wasn’t my cup of tea. I disagreed with some parts, found it basic and boring, and I think she needed a better narrator for the audiobook.

I gave it 5 stars because
1. It was easy to understand
2. Full of good reminders without being repetitive or condescending
3. Reads like talking to a mentor
4. Gave practical real life examples
5. Points me as a mom to God which I believe is important.
I will probably read this till it's worn throughout the course of my parenting journey.
