Growing up and seeing ghosts in a dysfunctional family has been a challenging journey for me. My earliest memory is of an entity standing over my crib. However, unlike most stories from people who've had similar experiences growing up with the paranormal, I didn't initially fear the Spirit Realm. It wasn't until I moved into a rental house in Nashville, Tennessee that I would learn to be afraid. In recent years, there has been a growing focus in the paranormal field on demonic lore. More paranormal investigators are pursuing demonology, and many recent TV shows and movies feature demonic hauntings, often prioritizing shock value over providing an engaging narrative. In these shock-driven films, demons are portrayed through children cursing, young girls levitating off the bed, coughing up nails, and speaking in unknown tongues, with a hapless priest trying Latin verses and commands to no avail. Hollywood's shock-documentary mentality can make it easy to dismiss the existence of demons entirely. In their efforts to distinguish themselves from the mainstream, most serious investigators report experiencing demonic activity as extremely rare. However, these experiences may manifest differently than what popular culture leads us to believe. This work reflects my personal experience with a demonic-like force during a real haunting in Nashville that forever altered my perspective on the paranormal, plunging me into an endless quest for the truth. The opinions in this book are rooted in personal experiences and a comprehensive examination of the research conducted by other paranormal authors and cases to make sense of the paranormal events that took place during this time.
