Professional Photoshop 7 not only covers color correcting for press, but also reflects the changing needs of readers by addressing issues such as outputting to color printers and high-volume copiers. The author teaches color correction with Photoshop by demystifying classic skills-analyzing images, understanding colorspaces, working with numerical color curves, using the Unsharp Mask filter. Covers new Photoshop 7. This edition includes three completely new chapters on previously unpublished techniques for correcting color. ABOUT THE CD-ROM Includes original images from the book, bonus instructional materials, Adobe Acrobat Reader for Windows and Macintosh. CD-ROM/DVD and other supplementary materials are not included as part of eBook file.
This is "the" book for people who want to understand Photoshop. Unfortunately Adobe has changed the interface and menus so that it is difficult to perform the lessons Margulis sets out because this book was written when Photoshop CS3 was current. None the less you can still learn how to modify/fix photos by numbers without needing to see the changes. A colourblind person can learn from this book how to become a master at improving digital images.
Great information! I got a chance to view Color Correction and the digital darkroom in a whole new light, learning different advanced concepts and how to look at photographs to evaluate accurate color.
