Praying wears me out! You might think… Me too! I hated praying! I did the begging thing but it didn't work. Most of my prayers were not answered. I always thought if you gave a pound of "fervent prayer" you should get back a pound of answered prayers. I saw prayer as some sort of payment for blessings. It never occurred to me that prayer could be about a relationship with God rather than working for Him. All that changed when I met a very special person. She taught me how to be with God, just be with Him, for no other purpose than to know Him. What she taught me radically changed my life. Mark Cowper-Smith
6 books5 followersMark Cowper-Smith was a lawyer in Canada for many years. As a result of a radical conversion to Christ, he began to teach the Bible wherever and whenever he was asked. In 1988 a group of people requested Mark to plant a church. The church experienced very rapid growth as well as severe trials. Mark and his wife Shell have traveled and ministered at churches in 11 countries. They have a heart to see the Church powerfully filled with the love of the Father and released to minister that love in power. Mark’s principle gifts are teaching and prophecy. Mark and Shell are currently on staff at a local church.
