Loved this. Literally unputdownable. I love psycho drama and 'One Call'' is perfect in this genre. I was particularly impressed by the plot points, they kept on coming and at the right pace. I never felt rushed from one plot sortie, it was concluded before - wham here comes another. But also I never felt it lost pace either. Very cleverly crafted.

I wasn't sure about Gates to begin with. I couldn't imagine someone living off grid but he is totally believable and both he and Hannah are totally engaging characters to root for.

Liked knowing who the 'baddie' was early on and this being clear, focussing the story on the characters and impacts of actions, as they worked through their stories.

Highly recommended.

I binged this book so hard. It's so well written it made me feel like I was Hannah. From the anger, anxiety, hope, and longing I could feel everything. And the plot is incredible. It's unpredictable, exciting, and captivating. The first few chapters may be difficult to get through due to the subject matter, but I just finished and I already want to read it again. The last thing I'll say: I want a sequel about Gates and Hannah!
