For thousands of years, the native people along the Great Lakes of North America battled within their cultures for the means to survive and maintain a balance of discipline. European invasion would upset and change the indigenous woodland people forever. Open Borders highlights some of the events known and recorded through native oral history and European records. From ancient indigenous battles through the start of the American Revolution, European greed and hunger for land and power would forever change and try to erase a way of life from North America.
