Boring! I finally DNF at 65%.

This was originally an omegaverse (OV) book that the author decided to change into a contemporary. This book should’ve stayed OV because it got really troublesome to hear Storm telling them (MMCs) No! and to leave her alone but they kept pursuing her. Scent matching works in OV and not so much in contemporary.

DNF'ed at 20%.

I think, maybe, this author and I are just not meant to be.

The FMC in this book is just...not great. First off, she's perfect, of course. Long hair, long legs, gorgeous face that she doesn't even need to put makeup on, walking around in 6" heels even though she's a receptionist at a classy doctor's office. It's fine to have/be all those things, but give us SOME sort of vulnerability to work with. Much like the other E.N. book I read, she also comes from money and has the opportunity for a very easy life but is instead working this weird job to distance herself from her parents just for the sake of saying she does. Except she's not even a mafia queen in this one.

The MMCs also had very little redeeming about them. There's an entire monologue about how they're "almost 30" (they're 27, I think) and it's time to "settle down" and they've basically already discussed that that means that they all need to share the same woman. Even though there's no discussion that we're let into about how they've even tried that before, etc.

Lastly...the insane exposition of every physical space just threw me for a loop. I don't need paragraphs about what the FMC's loft apartment looks like, or the coffee shop that we'll literally never see again. There's a difference between setting the scene and engaging the reader, and making me read an entire page about a high end coffee shop.

I don't know...I believe the other reviewers who said they had a great time. I do know from prior books that this author can write some great spicy scenes, so hopefully that's a huge redeeming factor for this book. It just wasn't for me. There's something so remarkably dull about reading a book where everyone is flawless except for their shitty personalities.

Eve gives us a perfect storm of a book in this RH standalone! The story of Storm and her men begins with a complete disaster of a day when she is tripped by a cocapoo and winds up spilling her very hot coffee over herself and JP (which is just the beginning of this awful day)! How does she meet the other two and how do they eventually get to their HEA? For that you'll have to dive into this book to find out. Beautifully written with complex characters and plot twists that keep you turning pages throughout, this book is sure to become a favourite. I loved reading this story and highly recommend it! Don't miss out on this book!!

This is such an amazing romcom that hits your right in the feels! Storm is such a strong character that does not back down and really has these men working for her. This book will have you laughing and falling in love slowly but surely with these men.

My all-time favorite is the bookstore owner. He is a sweet and caring man but also shy and so lovable. I could not get enough of this book. If you love romcom movies, especially where there is more than one love interest, then this is the book for you! Especially since she doesn't have to choose.

If you're looking for a fun romcom style book where the FMC accidentally runs into the MMC, spilling the hot coffee everywhere. This is it! Bad days can start with tripping and spilling hot coffee all over yourself and one of the hottest guys in town. UGH! The worst. But it gets a little bit more interesting when his two friends get involved. Can this get any worse... or maybe it gets better?

I love the guys in this book, the characters are just complex enough to hold your attention without being too much. It was a great story and perfect for when you need something light hearted.

uhhhhhhh

So, this apparently was a re-read for me but I swear the first time I read it, I thought it was an omegaverse story. If it was and the author changed it, please change it back. It’s so much better as an omegaverse story and without that element, it sounds borderline stalker and basically, the fmc gets bullied into a relationship she doesn’t really want and then somehow by the end, they are all soulmates and she’s pregnant?? Like what?? This storyline is all over the place and is just an awkward read without Alphas, Betas and Omegas.

The ultimate romcom Rh in eReader form

Never knew a Rh romcom would hit all my buttons and fill my heart with joy and sparkly things.
I love a good romcom film and books usually don't get the romance to warm feelings right - well this one does. In my eyes it has the ratio just right.
When you search for a romcom to read, you need to find this one.
When a book starts out where she falls backside over teakettle right into the arms of the biggest Romeo in London, you know she's gonna give him a run for his money. The other two don't dare any better either. One has my dream job - bookshop owner - he gets a serious case of the dumdums when she's near.

I thoroughly enjoyed this funny but heart meltingly warm book, Storm like her name suggests is no pushover and definitely doesn't fall straight into the arms of our men which gives us as readers a great plot to follow! I laughed through this with only a few moments of heart ache and maybe more than a few shouts of "come on man what are you doing" only to end up with happy tears and super warm fuzzy feels by the end.

Storm (FMC) crashes into JP, Thatcher & Josh's life (through no fault of her own). An even that brings their unwanted (at the start of this book) attention and all sorts of disastrous knock on effects to win her over. Storm definitely gives the guys a run for their money throughout this book but I couldn't help but like them. Josh especially was sweet with how tongue tied he was around Storm. Heart-warming and funny as well as steamy as hell. Loved It.

Ok so this book certainly has everything you want in a romcom. It's a laugh out loud book for sure and the writing is on point as always with this one-click author to me! Storm meets the guys through an unexpected way and this leads to so many hilarious situations. I love the cockapoo by the way and this book is a must read and an ofter will re-read book for me. I love the sweet character and the steam. Highyly recommend.

Chasing Storm

If you love rom-com movies? Then you are going to adore this book. It makes you feel like you are watching a movie and falling in love with love. Mind you, this is way hotter. Storm is looking for love, and she finds it where she least expects it.....and with the last guys she ever expected to.
If you are needing a fun, hot happy ever after? This is the perfect book

Loved this!

I absolutely adored Chasing Storm.  Storm is such a relatable character with her sass and quick witt. She is determined to be an independent woman until fate and a wayward cockapoo show her otherwise. This book will keep you coming back for more until the very end. The steam is fantastic and will have you drooling for more. Honestly, if you need a feel-good, warm, and fuzzy book, easy read. This is the book for you!

Oh I so loved this story. It was such a sweet RH Romcom story. I loved reading about Storm. The guys also kind of wormed their way into my heart as well. It was just such a sweet story that I didn’t know I needed in my life till I read it. Absolutely loved the storyline. Sweet and steamy. Must read. Definitely a book I would read over and over.

It took me three months to finish this book! Honestly, I barely remember what I read, and that’s never a good sign. I tried really hard to enjoy this one, but there were only about two moments where I did. I’d like to say I’ll try to re-read it at a later date, but I’m not sure. I’ll just say it wasn’t for me.

Loved this book! It has the right balance of fun, tears, and steamy scenes! RH romcom - Storm sure gives these boys a chase. She definitely makes them work for it, and boy are they willing. Will definitely read this one over and over when I need something light and fun.

This is a super sweet and light heart Rom-Com. It centers around Storm and her guys, JP, Thatcher, and Josh. There were some truly heartwarming moments. The guys, especially Josh, were loveable. Their story had me laughing and was just overall a fun and entertaining read

Disappointed

I thought this book would be a good palate cleanser.. I was wrong. It almost seemed like it was written as a last-minute assignment for English class that you forgot to do in 8th grade. The concept was there. The execution was waaay off the mark.

I am so mad at myself for spending money on this book. I had high hopes for it because the concept sounded right up my alley but boy was I wrong. This was a mess and I wish I was someone who could not finish books because I would have stopped halfway through, maybe even before then.

This was neither Rom nor Com and the writing took me back to the early days of fanfiction. I wish I could unread it.

Everything was fast and kinda not believable. 2 players, their friend and insta-love with the first girl that isn’t easy?

DNF at 78%. I really tried to finish this book, but it was really hard with how many times something "drastic" came up and Storm just ran away. It was so tiring honestly. I was just at the big groveling stage when I finished reading.
