Rate this book
DEEP SOUNDING - Ocean Poems
is a collection of poems by Illawarra writers, Friederike Krishnabhakdi-Vasilakis, Christine Howe, Barbara Nicholson, Lesley Coombs, Moira Kirkwood and Bronwyn Pierson, as part of the Deep Sounding Project.

The Deep Sounding Project is an ongoing multimedia arts project that delves into the hidden impact of human activity on ocean life and methods of mapping underwater ecosystems along the South Coast of New South Wales, Australia. This project aims to foster a connection between us and ocean life, emphasising that as artists, writers, and readers, we can make a difference.

As a demonstration of our commitment, a portion of the proceeds from this book will be allocated to Australian marine conservation efforts.

The poems are accompanied by Deep Sounding artwork and photography, making this anthology a beautiful, immersive experience for the reader.
