Keep You Both

What’s the first rule of wedding planning? Don’t fall for the couple…

It was supposed to be a quick trip to the mountains. I was going to show my best friends Beau and Flora their wedding venue, hope they said “yes,” and check another task off the long list of things to do before they tie the knot. Oh, and continue to keep my feelings for the bride and groom under wraps.

What I didn’t plan for was a sudden blizzard to trap all three of us in a cozy cabin over New Year’s Eve weekend. Just me, the dirty-talking paramedic, the flirty baker, and too many bottles of champagne.

Oops.

Talk about a disaster. Resisting temptation is the only option—because revealing my secret would ruin their relationship and our friendship.

I’m not willing to lose them both.

Even if the couple I’m forbidden to have…might want me back.

KEEP YOU BOTH is a (super) steamy MFF novella set over New Year’s Eve weekend with a guaranteed Happily Ever After.

Grab your Christmas beverage of choice, spiked hot chocolate, eggnog, cold wine (cos it's hot here in Australia) and indulge in this beautifully written menage Christmas novella! You won't be disappointed.

I’d wanted them for so long that hearing their whispered honesty—that they’d yearned for me the way I had for them—felt like a thousand Christmas mornings rolled into one.

Wedding planner Paige is in love with her best friends Beau and Flora who are supposedly getting married. Paige has the impossible task of planning the wedding for the very indecisive couple. Will there actually be a wedding?

“Do you think about me when you fuck him? Do you…do you both think about me?”

When these three get snowed in together, what's actually troubling Beau and Flora gets exposed. And it very much involves Paige. And as these three navigate through the chemistry, the feelings and pining; watch these three combust.

Keep You Both was 'free love positive' which I imagine is what this author was striving for. The message of love coming in many forms and sexual preference was well received . Plus it was decadently steamy and touching.

as a bi girl, i love reading books with bisexual mcs, and this one not only has three but they're also all in love with each other. they were hot enough i needed to fan myself while reading, and sweet enough to make me believe that these three were made for each other.
"So much contentment settled over me it was almost scary, but I recognized it for what it was. Freedom. Authenticity. The candy-sweet ache of liberation from everything we believed was holding us back."

There is not a word Kathryn Nolan has written that I haven't loved, and I adored this scorching hot holiday novella about a woman falling in love with her two best friends and finding out they love her back.

And when I say hot, I mean your kindle will be nothing but ash when you're done. But more than that, you feel so much love and pining between all three of them. When there are more two people in a romance, it's hard (for me as a reader anyway) to feel the adoration between everyone beyond the heat, and I felt it in spades between Beau, Flora, and Paige. They were three, all incomplete without the others.

Keep You Both pushes the boundaries of what some may think what falling in love means. This story was nothing but pure joy and love and I loved every second of it.

I’m a huge fan of Kathryn Nolan’s writing, but this book was something else. It shouted out with queer joy and acceptance. I adored the fact that the hurts all three of these characters went through didn’t stop them from opening themselves up to the beauty of new relationships! This quote, “Ultimately, I discovered that our love is infinite. It doesn’t dry up and stop with the first person to break our heart,” made my heart spasm. Because wouldn’t it be beautiful if the entire world could see how unlimited love can be? The true affection and sensuality that abounded in the steamy scenes came off the pages as if they were a caress to my soul. Five-star recommendation for this hot, bi bundle of happiness.

Kathryn Nolan knows how to make you fall headfirst into a story, and I'm here for it! Keep You Both had everything I've come to love about her work, with a touch of something more. The story was authentic, and heartfelt, and so dang steamy I was fanning myself with my kindle. I loved it so much I can't wait to add the paperback to my bookcase! So very well done! I'd give it more than 5 stars if I could!

This novella was my first MFF book, and I can honestly say it blew me away. In true Kathryn fashion, she has the tension building between these 3 for a while and that's always been my favorite thing about her books. This book doesn't disappoint! Beautifully written and I can now say I will be reading more FF or MFF books because of this one!

This New Year’s Eve novella from Kathryn Nolan is truly a MFF gem. I always know going into a Kathryn Nolan book that I will be getting all of the adorable, swoony moments! Things to look for in this book:

❤️ MFF romance (where everyone is bisexual)
❤️ Best friends to lovers
❤️ Forced proximity
❤️ Snowed in vibes
❤️ Super spicy!

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Spice level: 🌶️🌶️🌶️
Angst level: 💔

Paige, Beau, and Flora are all best friends and when Beau and Flora start dating, Paige knows that she needs to keep her attraction and feelings towards them locked away forever. But that becomes harder by the day when they ask her to plan their wedding. But she is professional through and through.

When the three of them get stuck after another failed venue search in a snowstorm and are forced to stay in a cabin together over New Year’s Eve, it becomes increasingly harder for Paige to keep her feelings locked away when both Beau and Flora keep flirting with her. But things all completely change when Beau and Flora’s feelings come to light, and they admit to wanting to be with Paige. And not just for one night – they all want forever. But will Paige be able to be an equal partner with them, or will she always just be the added-on person into their relationship?

This novella is SO FLIPPING GOOD. The author truly brought all the feelings out in this one. She truly made us FEEL what these characters were going through and feeling. I loved that each of these characters had individual relationships with each other and then separately. Now let’s talk about the spice because the spice was spicing in this one. When they all admitted their feelings to each other and finally let go, things got HOT. I love how I never felt that any one person was the center of this relationship and that they were all equals in and out of the bathroom.

The one thing I really love about Kathryn’s characters is how she writes them so authentically and them being their true selves.

I would love to see more of this couple and their life years down the line!

Holy forking hotness. (There is some forking in this book. And some spooning. And some sporking…?) anyhoo, this book is hot hot hot. It’s about an engaged couple and their best friend/wedding planner and they are both in love with the best friend and she’s also in love with them and there is also a lot of secret pining and it’s tender and heartfelt and romantic and so incredibly sexy but also cozy. All 3 are queer and it’s just a big celebration of queer love and I really enjoyed it.

Effervescent!
This is a small book full of big feelings! Bold and beautiful Paige Presley is planning a wedding for her best friends, Beau, and Flora. What Beau and Flora don’t know is that this is an exercise in agony for Paige because she’s in love with them both. What Paige doesn’t know is that Beau and Flora are in love with her, too! When they all get snowed in together, they’re forced to reveal their truths.
Kathryn Nolan is a master at combining deep emotional scenes with steam hot enough to burn. The pleasure buttons are strong with this one! Snowed in! Slow burn! Holiday! Palpable longing! This is a beautiful MFF romance that is an exuberant celebration of big queer love and I loved every word.

"The truth was, I wanted Beau and Flora-wanted them both-with a desperation that bordered on obsession. Except they were engaged to be married. And I was their wedding planner."

Trapped by a blizzard, three friends are forced to spend New Year's Eve weekend together in a cozy cabin. A couple, and their wedding planner to be specific. But there's a history there, and it's about to unravel.

Keep You Both is a heartwarming holiday celebration of queer love. Packed with plenty of spice. And great communication when needed. I enjoyed these characters and their connections. Not one connection outshined another. But I have to say, it was all a little too flawless for me. I hoped for more longing, some angst or depth. I didn't feel that emotional connection, like I like to feel while reading. I know, I know! That's on me... and I do realize this is novella length.

In the end, I think many will enjoy this spicy MFF romance. It's a quick joyful read, perfect for the holiday season!

Well this was a little bit of unexpected reading … um … pleasure.

Our bi-FMC Paige is a wedding planner who is a little despondent about planning the wedding of her bi best friends - Flora and Beau. They can’t agree on a venue and Paige thinks there’s something disconcerting about their behaviour. They should be on top of the world, but they’re just acting weirdly. So when Paige is snowed in with them for the NYE holiday - she’s on edge, and doesn’t know what to do, because she’s in love with both of them.

This novella is just over 100 pages, so a wonderful length for a quick sit down. Because of this, there’s little preamble in terms of discussion between this trio with then overcoming any miscommunication through doing and showing rather than telling. The telling happens though eventually. The characters are all quite different as individuals but together are equitable - there was no overshadowing of any pair over the throuole (though the story is from Paige’s POV). There’s also a fun epilogue which rounds things out nicely.

Thanks to the author and Rick for sending an advanced copy my way. I can see a backlist being investigated in my future!

This holiday standalone is written in first person from Paige’s POV and ends with a HEA.
Paige is a wedding planner tasked with planning the wedding of her two best friends while keeping her very big feelings for both of them under wraps. All the secrets and feelings come to light when the three of them get snowed in at a small cabin over New Years.
This was a delightfully romantic and steamy read. I loved each one of the characters so much! I loved that they were all bisexual and free in their exploration of that and the way they live. This was a beautifully written love story. The New Year’s Eve scene made me swoon. I really admired that the author doesn’t pretend that it was an easy path to their HEA, but instead addresses some of the steps they took together to make their complicated relationship not only work, but to be amazing. This was a heartwarming exploration of big scary love, and I can see myself reading this one over and over.
I am voluntarily leaving this honest review after receiving an advance reader copy of the book.

This one is a cute, quick, and spicy holiday novella. It has some...

• Friends to Lovers
• Bi/queer/poly rep (MFF)
• It's always been you
• Snowed In

The story is told from Paige's POV. She has always been secretly in love with her two best friends, Flora and Beau, who are engaged to be married. After a snowstorm has them confined to a cabin together for New Years Eve, she finds out that she's not the only one harboring feelings.

The story was honestly sweet. The connection between all the characters was well written and believable. Because it's a novella, most of the relationship development happens prior to the start, so the relationship progression does move quickly. This one was definitely spicy, but that was well written, too. Overall, it was enjoyable.

Only Kathryn Nolan can pack so much sexy smut and absolute deep feelings into a novella that leaves me feeling compelled satisfied.

Keep You Both is a FFM Holiday Novella that has the the main characters snowed in over New Years Eve. Paige is planning her best friends, Flora and Beau’s wedding despite her strong feelings towards them. They have been keeping a secret and it all comes to a head as they are snowed in together. Secrets and fears are exposed culminating in an epic love story of three people who are choosing to love in the own way.

I’m her usual eloquent fashion the author paints a beautiful picture of the scenery and the longing with her words. Told exclusively from Paige’s point of view, I was still able to feel Flora and Beau’s longing and passion.

The smut is extremely hot with an undercurrent of reverence for each of the characters and their feeling. If you are looking for a truly satisfying sexy queer romance please don’t pass this story.

A horny celebration of queer love!

If you’re looking for a heartwarming but very spicy MFF romance where everyone is Bi and in love this is it! It’s between a wedding planner and her engaged best friends who get snowed at New Years while attempting to find a wedding venue.

I do think there was a lot of telling us how they felt over the years rather than showing us, but it’s hard to get all that information across in a novella so I get it. As a result though I didn’t feel a lot of emotional depth. It was also a little too nice & sweet for me - but I think a lot of people will enjoy the niceness! I just need a little more grit.

Overall it was a fun and horny little story that is packed to the brim with spice and queer joy

This novella is beautifully written, and I love Kathryn Nolan's book. Unfortunately, this book wasn't for me.

Why? First off, the positives: the writing. Kathryn has the ability to escort readers into her world. Her writing flows extremely well, and her descriptions are breathtaking. You'd believe you know the characters for years, even while reading a novella.

Secondly, the characters. I loved the diversity of the characters and how they all love each other and themselves. Their connection is beautiful, and I love how well they get on.

Why wasn't this book for me?
The storyline. OK, so stay with me. Yes, I understand this is a novella, and there is a word count.
Unfortunately, I would have loved more depth to the characters. Yes, they all love each other and are all incredible friends, but I wanted a little more insight into their past, their aspirations, wants, needs, and goals. As a result, I didn't connect with the characters.
Everything was "too perfect." I know, I know, I'm sorry to be that person!! However, for me, I found it too cheesy and 'perfect'. Paige wanted both of them together, and the way it happened was exactly as her fantasy played in her mind. I will say the spicy (🔥).
Kathryn Nolan did a fantastic job at portraying the want, longing, and passion.

Overall, it is a good book! It just wasn't for me.

I would like to thank the author, and that's what she said publishing for a copy of this arc in exchange for an honest review.

This was my first polyamorous book with FF included. Usually I read MMF. This was MFF.

The writing was so bad. Everything was so lovely dovey romance and calling each other "adorable" every two minutes.

Every character and side character is either part of the LGBTQ+ or they're polyamorous. There are still straight couples in the world just 0 in this book.

They've all loved each other for years but they refuse to acknowledge it until they're snowed in the cabin for New Year's Eve.

This book had so much potential but the writing style just made it so cringe and too cutesy "adorable" for me to enjoy this.

I was a bit disappointed by this one, as I've been looking forward to it, but it was so short that the plot was non-existent. I didn't feel the character or relationship development.

It's a single POV and she kept having these flashback thoughts to times when she almost kissed each of the other characters. I wanted to see those times. It would have been much more fun to read the pining and sexual tension spread over months, rather than hear about that second hand and just read about 24 hour sex marathon.

If this book was the second half of a longer book, I would have loved it.

This latest novella by Author Nolan had a different feel to it than her usual, and it was fun to sus out its intricacies. It starts off with this odd tension between three friends, two of which are getting married soon. Paige, the third and the one tasked with planning their wedding, doesn't know what to about all the unexpected drama. Of course, once all the cards are finally out on the table, the tone shifts and everything starts crackling around the pages with delightful charm and easy charisma between these three.

Author Nolan doesn't just insta-luv us with s$x scenes here. I adored how she handled it all. The three were essentially learning to love each other on different terms now. The world was different, shiny and new. This was about exploration, understanding and not messing up something that could be great before it even starts!

"We panted, our eyes locked together. Flora’s coy flirting had vanished, leaving worry and tenderness in its place. My galloping heart spun at this glimpse of vulnerability, the fear that she’d ruined something precious. I knew that fear as intimately as my own breath, had been battling it for two years now."

Author Nolan obviously wrote carefully as she navigated the first few timid days of this threesome. Do they hear each other? Are they on the same page? Are they s$xually compatable? Is anyone regretting this? Slowly these friends change their relationship into something more, and the dialogue made me smile. Author Nolan brings a sensitivity to the story that perhaps not everyone could do successfully. And dare I say she educates as well? She certainly educated me.

"“And we have so many queer friends in all kinds of relationships,” Flora added. “We’re surrounded by these amazing examples of what romantic love can look like. Poly folks, open relationships, couples who date other couples. Beau and I truly believed our love was expansive. As infinite and vast as the universe. It wasn’t about scarcity or deprivation, only this abundant love we never wanted to limit or censor. We’d had plenty of conversations about the topic, but saying ‘hey, actually, I also love this other person’ was way more terrifying than all of our philosophical ideas.”"

While the ending was expected, it was still lovely and heartwarming. I cheered in my mind for these three. I couldn't help but hope for more stories like this out in the world. Not just LGBTQIA+ stories, but stories that are written like this one. Written beautifully, that encourage happiness and show that this topic is NORMAL! Its not a big deal and no one needs to call the presses! There's probably many threesomes like Beau, Paige and Flora who are living their best lives. So onward and upward for these three, and maybe we will get an epilogue from them in five years?
