Exciting

I have read and re-read the New York Ruthless series over and over, I have the audibles of the series as well. I jumped all over the short novellas that Sadie Kincaid gave to us. When this complete series came out with bonus scenes I jumped all over it. It was like reading the books for the first time again. The bonus scenes just added an extra layer of greatness to the books!! I loved every new scene and I know that Sadie will give us more of the New York family and I am here for it!!

This was as ridiculous as it was funny, as it was annoying...🤣😂 smut with plot but more smut than plot.

And to be real, this actually made me curious to read more rh romance 🤭

The series dragged a little more like a lot. The amount of times someone “flashed their eyebrows” was insanely excessive. Shane’s father figure relationship with his brothers was a bit weird for me in relation to them all sharing Jessie. Liam and Mikey also seemed a tad immature at times.

While I finished all the books in this series, I did start skimming to get to the end. The smut was good. Decent read but wouldn’t recommend to a friend

Good Read

This was a good read but the series was at least one book too long and the spice scenes became repetitive. At times Jessie was irritating with the pouting and constant wetness references but all in all worth reading.

Series Summary
Jessie is a hacker who offers herself to the Ryan brothers (Shane, Connor, Liam & Mikey) to save her life when they attack her boss. She is secretly hunting the Wolf (a contract killer who murdered her family), but is whisked away by a man claiming to be her father (Alexi).

The Ryans kidnap Jessie and she tells them Alexi is her father but his brother stole her and her mom. Alexi hired the Wolf, who then kept Jessie for himself instead of returning her to Alexi. The Ryans hold Alexi off while Jessie escapes, with Connor taking 2 months to find her.

Kidnapped by Alexi, Liam is saved by the brothers and Jessie (who kills Alexi but refuses to lead the Bratva in his place). The Ryans explain that Shane moved them to NYC after their father (Patrick) forced Mikey and Liam to fight to the death.

Jessie and Shane go to Patrick’s funeral in Ireland where the brothers’ uncle (Paul) kidnaps, chains and rapes Jessie, revealing he is the Wolf. After being saved, the final showdown sees Paul revealing he had an affair with the brothers’ mom, leading to her death and making him Mikey and Liam’s true father.

The author made a mistake by adding book 5 as the conflict was over and there was no storyline. It’s a LOT of pages just to describe their issues with fertility and tons of sex. I skimmed through most of it as it was boring.

WHAT WAS WITH ALL THE EXCLAMATION POINTS!!!!!!!!!!!!
- I’m sorry but I think the author needs to look up the definition of an exclamation point 🥲 because it took away from the story to the point it seemed like it was written by a teenager on wattpad. I expected dark and dangerous males that oozed sex since it was the Bratva, but instead got a bunch of moody whiny children and a girl who wanted to orgasm everytime a man looked at her. They wouldn’t last 5 seconds in the Bratva. 🙄

I’ve been craving a good mafia series, but I guess I’ll keep looking 😕

I tried really hard to get into this but I just could not get on board with it. The pacing was a little ridiculous...I find it really hard to believe (even with suspension of disbelief and knowing that this is definitely smut with some plot pulled in) that they find her in Chapter 1 and are about to blow her brains out, she bargains her way into being a "hostage" and from day 1 of her being a hostage, they basically roll out the red carpet and "adopt" her into their family. They give her an amazing room, and she is kind of free to walk around and do whatever - hang out, watch movies, etc. Only the oldest brother (essentially father of the group) is suspicious of her and thinks (rightly so) that she is lying about everything she has told them. The rest of them have all decided from the minute they saw her and a gun was held to her head, that they wanted to have sex with her....wouldn't it make more sense that they are all suspicious of her and treat her like an actual hostage/prisoner and then she would have to really fight to prove her worth and show them she isn't a threat to them? Like I just needed some chapters of...idk, resistance(?) from the men, where they weren't falling all over themselves thinking she was this amazing sex goddess they needed to sink a dick in.

I very rarely dnf, but something about the writing and just how little the characters were fleshed out made it so hard for me to keep going. Which is a shame because I like Sadie Kincaid and have read quite a few of her books and enjoyed them.

I might get some alcohol in me and see if I can get back into it. Who knows, maybe if my brain gets sluggish I'll feel like the pacing is fine.

Jessie and four of the hottest men....a fan was not enough to keep me cool. I devoured this book in record time, as I could not put it down, nor did I want too. There was dark moments within this book, that I would expect with four Irish Mafia Brothers, whom each had very different personalities. I can see why Jessie loved each of them.

Shane, Conor, Mikey and Liam are the men of dreams, and, for those who do them wrong, there nightmares. And Jessie is the one woman who can tame the nightmares and they, hers. There is not enough positive adjectives to explain how much I highly recommend this book, and has thrust me headlong into reading every single book of Sadie's and more. It is not a trope, RH, that I had read much of, but OMG I am glad my friend Lakshmi recommended them. It means I am addicted, but it's a very delicious addiction indeed.

There is one scene, which literally broke me, and had the biggest tears rolling down my cheeks. A book is everything to me, if it gives me all the emotion and the feels. Sadie, you have a new fan in me, and I am devouring more. I am currently finishing A Ryan Recollection as I was not quite ready to say goodbye to Jessie and her delicious men, Shane, Conor, Mikey and Liam.

4🌟

Book 1 - 4🌟
Honestly girl, how the FUCK are you so dense that you literally bond with these men and promise yourself to them and then just leave?! Like with no warning you just up and walk out the door??? Um hunny is you ok?!

Book 2 - 4.25🌟
Of all of Jessie’s boys, I have a mega soft spot for Connor and I loved how much time the two got together in this story.
Shane finally pulled his finger out and I am so happy about it. Now my girl can live her best life with her 4 hot as shit men.

Book 3 - 4🌟
I feel like Liam finally got his time to shine at the end of this book and it is about fucking time IMO. Liam and Mikey deserved the depth they are getting now and I could not be happier. I am really enjoying the series so far.

Book 4 - 4🌟
Really enjoyable read. The characters are so well developed at this point and I feel like they have all grown so much since the beginning.
Plot points are finally coming to a close however some details were slightly predictable.

Book 5 - 3🌟
I feel like by this point the story should have already been over. The plot felt rushed and honestly felt like more about them breeding than anything else. And don’t get me wrong I LOVE a breeding kink and love the representation of struggling to conceive but it was a massive amount of the story and I don’t think it needed to be.

The Ryan Brothers – Box Set (Books 1–5)

This series was so good from beginning to end! Each book pulled me in deeper with its perfect mix of spice, suspense, danger, and emotion. I loved watching Jessie grow stronger and more confident throughout the story, and Shane absolutely stole my heart as my favorite MMC — intense, protective, and impossible not to love. Every book built beautifully on the last, keeping me hooked and turning pages late into the night.

Book 5 was especially satisfying. I loved that Aaron finally got what she deserved — it felt like justice after everything that happened. The only thing that made me sad was that Jessie wasn’t able to have a real relationship with her brother, and I wish that had been explored more. Still, the emotional depth and payoff made this installment one of the strongest in the series.

I have to admit, I hated how it all ended — but in the best way. It left just enough unanswered to spark the imagination, and now I cannot wait to read Book 6 with all the novellas. If you’re a fan of dark, spicy romance with strong characters, deep connections, and gripping twists, this box set is an absolute must-read.

The Ryan Brothers 😮‍💨

📖 New York Ruthless Series by @sadie_kincaidxx

Story: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ / 5
Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ / 5

🫠The Ryan Brothers. I get it now 😊 There’s a reason why The Ryan Brothers are splashed ALL OVER spicy #bookstagram

This series exemplifies the greatness of the why-choose trope. Shane gives the grumpy, daddy-vibes. Conor is the level-headed, second-in-command. Mikey is the hot-headed pineapple and his twin Liam is the sensitive, cinnamon roll. Plus they’re all gorgeous, protective, and great lays. 🙌🏽 This story is like the assorted box of awesome donuts… something for everyone (and you can’t go wrong).

The story was a fun read, but I’ll be completely transparent and say how the SPICE needs to be applauded. If you’re new to Sadie Kincaid, let me say, she is NOT SHY with her seasoning. Yes, I will be reading everything she has ever written and recommend this series. 🫶🏽

A Waste of Two

I’m not one to DNF a book so I stuck it out but boy was it hard. This book set is great if you want 90% spicy scenes with 10% plot.

Here is what I did not enjoy:
1. By book 2 the FMC must have turned into a cat because every time she says something to the MMCs she “purrs.” She no longer just speaks to them.

2. Every single major plot issue is rushed and resolved WAY too fast for a mafia series.

3. The Ryan brothers are more like extremely wealthy men who occasionally commit crimes rather than the head of the NY Irish Mob.

All in all, the series had potential but it never reached it because of all the spicy scenes. The actual plot was seriously neglected. And I hate to say it, but the spicy scenes got boring and repetitive.

Sadie Kincaid is a great author. I would recommend the Chicago ruthless series over this any day.

Fantastic book! Once I started reading this book I was hooked. Who doesn't love 4 hot Irish mafia Brothers?!! The Ryan Brothers were such a close knit family. I absolutely loved their relationship. Shane was the oldest and pretty much raised his Brothers. Especially the twins who were the youngest.
They meet Jessie, a computer hacker working for one of their Russian enemies. The Brothers almost end up shooting her. But instead she talks them into bringing her to their home.
Jessie and the guys quickly become pretty much attached at the hop. Shane is the only one trying to hold back.
They all go through so much together and their trust is tested.
I can't say enough about this book. I loved the way the Brothers treated Jessie. Like precious stones.
Book had a lot of sex!!
The ending was fantastic and I can't wait to read the novellas of The Ryan's.
Thanks Sadie!

Where is my fan?

This one has it all! I had so many moments that I laughed, I had to put the book down because I couldn't see to read, and then a few failed restarts. This book is so super hot, that I will loose myself in it again, and probably again. Then there are small novels to read afterwards, super hot and satisfying. Don't pass this one up. It is a top must read! But yes, if triggers are not your thing then give it a pass. But they are not devastating triggers, but triggers none the less.
Thanks Sadie Kincaid for a super awesome story! I need more of this from you! Bet others who read this would agree.

So many people love this book, but I don’t know why I didn’t like it.
It’s not like I didn’t read & love polygamy books.
I tried so much to like This book, but I couldn’t so I stopped after reading the first 3 books.
One and only book of Sadie’s that I don’t like.
I love Sadie’s books, I’m a huge fan of her words.
But I feel as if this book is all about s*X and nothing else… the story is just 20% and all the remaining stuff is about s*x between the characters. From the first 40% of the first book, I got pretty bored, and skipped the s*x scenes and hoped that the plot would come but it never did. So I just read the first 2 books and stopped reading it all together.

Sadie wrote these stories of New York Ruthless with so much spiciness, attention grabbing, page turning, and leaving you interested for more! I couldn't put it down!!!

A little tip, make sure you're prepared to handle your ummm... creamy business once you start these 🤤😏😋😘

Highly recommend this love story

Has a ton of spicy scenes to amp up your reading. Plenty of drama to go around and keep you on your toes. The storyline is well-written and consistent. This setup has all 5 books in the series and it makes it easy to read. I quite enjoyed getting to know all of these characters and seeing their growth. The Ryan brothers are quite drool-worthy and I do not blame her for the why choose theme. I highly recommend this read. Whether in this setup or individual books. It is bingeworthy.

Every time I immerse myself in Sadie Kincaid's world, there's always an ineffable sensation. It's one of the reasons why this book always seduces me to read numerous times. This dark romance, reverse harem series delivers a fitting amount of drama, suspense, action and smut that brings out eclectic sentiments in me.
The story is set in a mafia world, so expect some scenes that may not suit your romance preference novels and trigger your red flags.
Hope you'll enjoy it as much as I do and thank you Sadie for creating the Ryan Brothers.

Flipping Fabulous

What a read! Brilliantly written, characters so brilliantly thought out, if I could piece all the Ryan’s together and mix them into one… I’d never rest, and would forever be on cloud 9. Action, debauchery, mystery, trials and tribulations, but when you think the storm has calmed… there’s a tsunami brewing in the air. Thoroughly enjoyed another collection from Sadie Kincaid, MMMMF may not be for everyone, but for me, this was flipping fabulous!

Awesome stories!

I read all of these books in 3 days. They are hot!! I love the characters. The storylines flow and pull you in, but I hate to say this because I like spicy as much as the next person. There, it's a lot. I would have liked more of the relationship outside of sex. Overall, I love these books and would recommend them to anyone who loves a lot of spice and love that melts you.

“You’ve had so much Irish in you, I’m surprised you’re not talking Gaelic,”

Woweeeee. This series was hot, hot, HOT 🥵

Jessie is a hacker who comes in contact with the Ryan boys, who are the Irish Mafia, when they murder the person she was working for.

Jessie comes from a Russian background and her story is quite intense.

It’s a reverse harem story so you can imagine what unfolds during these books. And when I say it’s a whole lot of 🌶️ I mean it. This set had me wondering if I have made the right choice in being a one man woman 😅

This boxset is all 5 stories all together in one book.

Ryan Rule
Ryan Redemption
Ryan Retribution
Ryan Reign
Ryan Renewed

The 4th book had me in tears at one point.

By the 5th one it felt a little repetitive and I was a little sad that the action just wasn’t there ( and I mean action not 🌶️ action) like it had been in the first few books but it did have a big finish which made me happy in the end.

One of the things I absolutely loved was the communication and self awareness and ability to admit wrongs these men had. Like that’s hot to me 🥵

There are a number of short novellas in this series you can also read but for me for now I need a break 😅

“No matter how much we love someone, we can never stop them being hurt. We can’t protect people from hurt and pain, as much as we want to. You have to accept that or you’re going to drive yourself crazy trying to keep everyone safe when it’s an impossible task.”

I saw the reviews and I’m baffled as to how people rated this 4-5 stars??

The story was really really bad, every other page was just spice and it was really poorly written spice as well. How this series got published will be a mystery to me 💀

I think I saw someone say good plot? ….is the plot in the room with us? 👀

I’m sad bc I have other books of Sadie’s that I love but this series WAS NOT IT 💔

I always hate giving a negative review but truthfully, I was 65% of the way finished this megabook and it’s was DNFed in my head. However, I just wanted to finish it.

There was a lot I didn’t like about this series. The writing, characters, smut thrown at the wall to see where it sticks. I always want to give props to authors being able to write 5 books but I personally didn’t like it and I don’t recommend it.

I will forever praise and shout about these books! I don't know how many times I've read the Ryan series.
If your looking for a mafia book that's full of smut from start to finish including four extremely possessive, hot, obsessed, irish brothers with a common interest in a fiery red head, smart mouth hacker named Jessie then Sadie has you covered with these addictive books! One little firecracker manages too bring all four brothers to their knees and they have no problem worshiping her.

Dreadful

Between the constant use of nicknames and the revolving door of personality changes. The characters were inconsistent and the quick and tidy wrap up of every issue. Ughhh… I get that it’s smut, but if you’re going to hint at a plot, at least commit. And Shane calling the twins “son” the last however many chapters. Dumb. I usually love me some Sadie Kincaid, but this series has left a bad taste in my mouth.

I have always loved this series and reread it too often if yoh ask my fsmily. That being said the bonus chapters had fun and emotion and insight to the characters. I laughed I cried and if course who doesn't love more spicy scenes... I didn't think she could add more spice lol but she's Sadie Kincaid! She can do anything!

Hot hot hot!!

If you’re into those pesky alpha males who would burn the world down for their woman, that’s this series, but with 4 alpha males! Sadie has hit it out of the park with these books and she didn’t disappoint. The spice, the romance, the adventure. It has it all. Jessie and her men are well and truly deserving of their HEA ❤️❤️

3.75 overall⭐️these books are only short with about 250 pages ish each, and each book is left on a cliffhanger

I thought credence was crazy, well this is mental, I had to detach the fact they were brothers by the second book😂 but I did really enjoy the storyline to this with the mafia and the twists

every other chapter was 🌶️ which did become a bit annoying towards the end

good books

I loved the books. Book 4 and 5 was almost a little too much smut and not enough plot. I mean really is she just walking around getting fucked constantly and have doing anything else? I love smut as much as the next person but it got a little “really” after a little lol
But overall I enjoyed them! 4/5 stars
