Fangs and the Furriest (Moonlit Monsters)
All I wanted to do was go camping.
Just to prove to myself that I could erect a tent and spend one night in the middle of BFE with only a few mosquito bites as souvenirs.
What I really wasn’t planning on was getting attacked by the biggest… wolf I’ve ever seen—not to mention the fact that wolves have no business being in Louisiana.
Fast forward to the wolf attack, and I’m now waking up to the second chapter of my middle-aged life as a vampire.
Yep, you heard me right.
Last I remembered, I was a forty-two-year-old widow with only creditors coming calling, and now I’m a blood-sucking fiend with two oversized fangs. And to make matters worse? My sire is a self-centered jerk who wants nothing to do with me.
Since I’m on a feeling-sorry-for-myself streak, might I also add that the only friend I had (one I also had a crush on) just so happens to show up in this weird outpost of civilization known as Misty Hollow?
What are the chances, right?
Well, turns out the chances are pretty good because Thorn actually isn’t human at all. In fact, he’s some sort of mystical creature called a ‘griffin’ and he’s also working for the mayor of Misty Hollow.
And let’s not even discuss the enigma that is Fox Aspen, a monster hunter sent to Misty Hollow to wrangle the wolf (turns out it’s a werewolf) that attacked me.
Fox is some kind of fae prince, and he’s also so hot he makes me go wobbly in the knees.
Wobbly knees or not, this girl needs to figure out what the heck is going on in this town, pronto, because something wicked this way is definitely coming from the swamp.
And I’m pretty sure that ‘something wicked’ is threatening my undead life…

Entertaining vampire listening 🎶🎧

Miss Rose is camping on the edge of the Louisiana swamp. In the middle of the night she is awaken by a noise. What is it? She head towards the road and is attacked by a werewolf. She is bitten in the shoulder. She is rescued but is turned into a vampire and the fun begins. She is taken to Misty Hallow where many strange persons live. She is fitting in when they capture the werewolf and she turns it back to human. Continued in book five.
Great series that I would recommend to readers of fantasy world 🌎 vampire, adventure thriller novels. 2024 👒😯😎🙂

So we’ve added a new character to Misty Hollow - Charlotte or Charlie. I like the way we have new characters with each book with Alistair being the residing main character. I would like to occasionally revisit some of the other people and bring them back into the fold more. I absolutely enjoy this series. I read a complimentary Advanced Reader Copy of this book & am voluntarily leaving an honest and unbiased review.

Welcome back to Misty hollow where things aren't what you think they are and the paranormal creatures come to stay and be safe. Enter Charlie who honestly just wants to go camping when things go from sleeping in a ruined tent to being chased down and attacked by a wolf, well the largest wolf she has ever seen. When she wakes up there is so much she must come to terms with . The very first thing well she is no longer alive , Allistair the mayor of the hollow saved her but turned her into a vampire at the same time . So now what is a middle aged woman who just got turned into a vampire going to do with her undead life. Now that she is fighting for her undead life and actually kind of falling for Fox the fae king ( you will remember him from Haven hollow. ) Will they survive what is hunting them in the swamp and will Charlie come out of this with her undead life .
I love that the authors add a new character to each of the books in the series . Charlette or Charlie as her friends call her . Is a middle aged divorced woman who wants to get a new start in her life. When she gets involved with the paranormal world after being bit. At first she is a scared of everything woman who really just wants to have a life but doesn't know how to do it. When she becomes a vampire you see her start to blossom around Thorne and Fox but she is still that shy woman who sometimes just wants to hide . Thorn well he is more then he seems he is a werewolf who well is as hot as well as sweet and he is on protection duty of the hollow . Fox well he is if you know him, he is sexy and kind of arrogant and he is well a king in his world . He really does take a shine to Charlie and when push comes to shove he will fight for and with her.
I am glad they went back to the hollow and wrote a 4th book . I truly like the characters and the way that they are evolving with each new character addition. The characters are well written and get more and more complex . The authors love to put the characters through so much with each story and then tie the story together in each new book. This is a fun fast read that you can read in an evening . So if you want a fun series to read in a snow storm check out the swamps of Louisiana and the MIsty Hollow crew of mermaids , vampire, fairies , were gators and so much more

We are back in Haven’s Hollow with a new adventure with the old enemy! Charlotte, or Charlie, is a middle-aged widow and vet. Her late husband left her with a load of gambling debts that she is slowly trying to crawl out from. Her newest love interest, online, has a outdoorsman personality…so, she decides to try her hand at camping…failing miserably! A werewolf attacks her, and the mayor must save her because the magic in place to deter humans is not there!
Upon awakening, it is determined she knows Thorn! When she has to accept the facts of her new undead life, things take a turn-literally. Fox comes to town; he is a high ranking, Fae. He has been called to deal with the wolf. He meets and is taken with Charlie; even though Thorn has a thing for her as well. The situation becomes more dire as the Swamp Thing makes more attacks and takes more victims.
The mayor leaves to help find Charlie a new mentor taking Dory with him. Thorn, Charlie, Fox, and a few others set out to rescue the latest victims. They will fight hard against the beast that has taken over the swamp. They will gather and learn new information…that information comes with more riddles and questions. They will have to continue to fight to save the supernatural town and its residents! The thing is old, very ancient. What can they do to fight it off?

Fangs & the Furriest is the newest installment in the Misty Hollow series, a spin-off of the Haven Hollows series. We meet our newest citizen, Charlie. All she wanted was to prove to herself that she is independent and able to take herself camping. She got way more than she bargained for and gets attached by a very large wolf. When she awakens, so much has changed. In order to save her life, Charlie was turned into a vampire by Misty Hollow mayor, Allistair. Charlie has so much to come to terms with in just a short amount of time. Enter Fox Aspen. Yes, “that” Fox Aspen. His Majesty the Fae King from the Haven Hollows series. He’s arrived to search for the monster in the swamp in hopes of protecting the Hollow.
I love how different the characters are in the Misty Hollows series. The are all unusual and fun just like those in Haven Hollows but in separate ways. I am completely drawn to this series. I can’t wait to read the next book.
The writing duo of H.P. Mallory and J.R. Rain bring interesting stories, intriguing characters, and thought-provoking mysteries to life. The character development provides history and growth, and the world-building creates a fantastic world to watch the characters grow.

As with every book I’ve read by this author, this latest in the series is an action-filled fun ride. Poor Charlie is a newcomer to the supernatural world, and she’s introduced to it in a huge way. I loved Fox and Thorn, and I hope we learn more about them in the next installment; I didn’t get enough of them in this one. It was nice seeing old friends, and I’m anxious to see how everyone is going to defeat the Swamp Thing. An excellent addition to the series. Recommend. I was provided a complimentary copy which I voluntarily reviewed.

More Progress
The Hollow gained another female. She was a human veterinarian. But she ended up in the wrong place at the wrong time. Alaistair, the head of the Hollow, was begged to turn her to save her life. But you know Alistair has poor people skills, unless it pertains to this Gorgon. Now the search is on for the monster who "killed" Charlie. We learned a lot more about who their enemy is in this book. So, progress. But it looks like the next book will not be out for a while. I think I will stick to completed series in the future.

Such a good read! I was so happy to see that this story was more about Fox. I’m looking forward to hearing more of his story & I enjoyed the crossover from Haven Hallow. So far all the books in this series have been very good. I was honestly sad when this one ended- I need to know what happens! Looking forward to more!

astonishing how often
One of both of these authors’ names are so often on yet another book I grab because it looks interesting. Truly some of the most prolific writers and the most pull-you-in stories. Can’t tell you what happens at the end of this book, but it will make the next book even more intriguing.

Fangs and the Furriest: (Misty Hollow Book 4)
This whole series is amazing. There are wonderful characters and horrible monsters. All the women are hard-working and mostly magical and hot! The magical guys are also amazing.
Of course the Swamp Thing is terrible, especially as the Genius Loci. Great fun!

I'm Hooked, On to the Next in this Series!!
The storyline of this series is fasinating..it manages to incorporate alot of different characters into the story, from different genres. Vampires, Angels, Imps, Mermaids, etc..all battling an unknown force from before time on earth began..

When a human woman is attacked near the Hollow, they work to save her and offer her a new life there. Charlie works to help her new community and quickly accepts her new role. The romantic entanglement confuses her but adds to her confidence. I enjoy Fox in this cross over for him.

We get a newcomer to the Hollow in book 4 of the series! Charlie is a great addition to the paranormal friends of the Hollow. Poor girl just wanted to go camping and now she can't leave. I've loved every book of this series and #4 is no different!

I've always loved hearing about the Hallows. This one has a lot going on with it. Danger and anticipation in equal measure. It's hard to put the book down once you pick it up.

This was an entertaining, well-written book. It was fun, action-packed and kept me reading. I enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more books in this series as well as others by these authors.

Finally!
Four books in and we finally have a name to the entity that has been terrorizing the new hollow. I really enjoyed the introduction of this new character. Charlie had no magical background and came in kicking butt! Can’t wait to see where this story goes.

This series is really good reading. The authors have great characters that are expanding with each new..story. I like the storyline.
