Are the standards of the Church like a fence that says 'Keep Out,' or are they more like a guardrail that says, 'Arrive Alive?' This CD gives the answer!Using humor, stories, the For the Strength of Youth pamphlet and numerous statements from Church leaders, John Bytheway explains exactly what's expected of all of us concerning the three M's--Media, Modesty, and Morality. You'll see that Satan's strategy is to take you on forbidden detours and send you off a cliff, while the Lord's way is designed to lead you to the temple and maximum joy. More than just a long list of do's and don'ts, the standards are the highway to happiness. The Talk on CD was published in 2001 and is based on the 1990 For the Strength of Youth pamphlet.

You just can't beat the talks by bro bytheway! This one was a great one to listen to while I drove. He made some valid points pertaining to standards and that they are in place for our protection. With humor, quotes and great insights, his talks are the best!
My boys often request books by John Bytheway. This was another great one on the standards from For The Strength of Youth pamphlet. I do think For The Strength of Youth has been updated since this was written, but John Bytheway still gives solid counsel that is applicable today.
I love John Bytheway, he writes wonderfull books not only for the youth but for everyone. I love the stories he tells and how he weaves messages from the prophet and apostles into his writing, they really get you thinking.
This book was true, uplifting, funny, and really good. It is actually a great, inspiring book that I recommend. Throughout it, I was smiling, laughing, thinking, and I really enjoyed it. It is a great book about keeping your standards high!
This is a great book so far and I just started it! It's kinda a quiz and book all at the same time. It tells us about all the standards and has a ton of great quotes.
