This book had many plot additions that were not well developed. The public beaches and the rip current lack of education was hard to believe. Fin's lack of follow through on her employees is portrayed as being gracious but it is capricious and dangerous at times as seen in this book and past books. The deaths of the women in the rip current was not resolved well since it was such a big part of the story.
The story seems to go all over the place. Fin keeps making dangerous decisions with scuba diving and the author tried to justify these decisions through Fin's thoughts. Her passive communication and non-confrontation in her business and personal life has been frustrating in past books and seems to be getting worse. Finally, the change in Liam's personality and he and Fin's relationship seemed abrupt, fast, and out of character because of the way the author wrote the history of the relationship.

A Welcome Diving Fix!!!
I love diving but live in Colorado and only get to dive a couple times a year. Sharon Ward’s underwater descriptions are true and wonderful!!!! And Rip Current, like her other books, is exciting. And I loved the beautiful surprise ending! I can’t wait for her next book!!

I love this series! The end seemed like it might be the end of the series, which I hope it is not. So glad that Fin finally is getting both her work and love-life in order!

This one is quite the mystery. Crazy method of killing girls. Awesome storyline with a very unexpected ending. Love this one!!
