The Author’s Goal… ACHIEVED!!
At the conclusion of this first trilogy, Bishop opens her authors notes with the statement, “I hope you had fun.” Oddly enough, I ended my first review. Correction, my review of the first book, with the statement, “this is going to be fun!“ And it absolutely has been! (Exclamation points are repeated Intentionally.)
There is a wicked amount of wicked foresight in the way, Ash bitch smacks those who need it. And my compliments, once again wto Ms Bishop for a job incredibly well done and well written. Right on up to the last sentences, she is wringing every drop of, “you should have known better,” out over every word. It’s a subtle comedy, not in your face snark, and it’s hilarious!!! Fun, indeed! (Ibid “!” Comments)
Grab it, do yourself a favor and read the series in order, btw, and enjoy it too. You’ll be glad you did.

Great series
Aisling is working on a way to save the Council and is breaking a few laws of physics as she makes her plans. With the help of family and friends she is sure she can do it. This is an awesome series and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I loved the characters and the storyline was very different and kept me reading to the end. I very much hope there will be more books by both authors.

Delighfully Fun Read
This whole series is just absolutely phenomenal! The world building and the character building is top notch! The way the heroine goes against the “popular” theories of magic to discover what actually is true is a testament to the best parts of human nature and a something to aspire to in general! Definitely on my top 5 list of series to own and reread multiple times! Just read it you won’t regret it!

Absolutely fabulous!
The premise, the characters, the snark, the dogged determination of our heroine...all just really well done in this trilogy. I enjoyed nearly every part of these books, even the parts that I had to skim through because they hurt my brain. Caroline delivers a thorough and bias-crunching summary at the end that had me cheering. I hope there is more of these characters and this world to come.

What a fun, and intelligent, paranormal romp. This is fast paced, action oriented, and witty to boot. All aimed at a stunning epilogue that will make you both laugh and smile sadly. No, bastion is never really embraced, but dang is there some poetic justice that goes around. Maybe.
Paranormal with romantic, clean, M/F subplot that doesn’t take over the plot. It’s important, but the plot would play mostly the same regardless.

What a ride
Ash is never ever boring. Probably due to the happenings that came so early in her transition to Magi, Ash doesn’t think like the others and is open to ALL possibilities. Her capacity for love and feelings for her fellow humans is just endless and Bastion well, her is amazing.

This series is a keeper!! You will want to read again and again !
Auburn Tempest is one of my absolute favorites . The storyline is incredible. It engulfs you . You start reading it before you go to bed, and before you know it, it's morning. I couldn't wait for book 3 . I am delighted to see there is a book 4 . I can't wait for it to be available.

Highest Praise!
This series is one of the best I’ve read in 2023! I can’t praise it highly enough and am looking forward to seeing what will happen in the next book! I could see this becoming an ongoing series. It doesn’t end in a cliffhanger, but o, per the author’s statement, more adventures will follow. Yay!

Amazing
This dynamic duo of writers has had me n the edge of my seat through three books now? I love the snark, the wit, and of course Percy. Who doesn't love Percy.

I loved the reality bending!
A unique heroine who is a Physics prodigy as well as a magi of stupendous skills. Great character development, mystery, interpersonal challenges between apprentices and the senior magi as well as each other. The character of Bastion was a most interesting creation and the budding romance left me wanting more stories! A fun series!

A great ending
I ended up really enjoying this story (and am glad to see that book 4 is coming out soon). But this book does wrap up nicely so you could stop here. Book 4 will cover something new, I'm thinking, since this is all wrapped up. Lots of new possibilities on the horizon, though.

Aisling powers up.
Book three with Aisling and Bastian trying to save her mentor Cornelius and the other council.This book leads to the end of that journey but I noticed this series continues so will be interesting to see where we go.This also has a slow burn romance so will be fun to see that develope.

The series continues to get better. Good characters, nicely developed. Very good story line. Plenty of action and suspense. It was good watching Ash learning about and growing into her powers. Happy to find out that the story will continue. Recommended.

Arcane Felonies, book three of the Boston Magi Chronicles series, is an ebook I borrowed through Kindle Unlimited (KU). This third installment of the series does not disappoint. Original, unusual, and funny stories in each book; and who knew math could be so fun? Can't wait for the next one.

What a ride! This was great, incredible imagination, adventures across the universe, and full of great lines. “Do you think you’re a hero?” “No, I’m a researcher.” The romance continues to kill me, so darn sweet!

Unexpected…
…endings are rare though not entirely impossible. While I certainly expected something of a happy ending in this book, I wasn’t sure how they would accomplish it. I’m so glad to announce it was a pleasurable experience and pretty gratifying.

The world building culminated in this book so well. The plot lines came together well into an absorbing narrative with quirky characters.

Truly enjoying this series with a brilliant FMC new Magi who has a Masters in Physics and her boyfriend who was literally brought to life out of a void of chaos. Her mentors and his peers have disappeared and now she will have to either go it herself or look to other groups. Can't wait to see what happens!
