Waanzinnige illustraties en de verhalen kort maar krachtig beschreven. De illustraties en de tekst vullen elkaar goed aan waardoor het verhaal goed en mooi overkomt. Prachtige Halloween verhalen in de echte wonderlijke Disney stijl!

Nightmare Before Christmas and the Legend of Sleepy Hollow are great adaptations of the movies. Haunted Mansion is a kid riding the attraction and what he notices and feels. The run through is a good description of the Disneyland version with the Hatbox ghost. All do a great job a capturing the ambiance of their sources. All have fun spooky themes without being too scary for young readers.

Fun having three slightly spooky stories in one collection. The Haunted Mansion one has a really nice illustrations and art design, colors used in the art, and puns. This would be good to give kids an idea of how the ride is. Nightmare has fine illustrations, the best spread being the one of Jack laying in the arms of the angel sculpture. That one is really striking.
