I have read three of the five books in this series and loved them. The books in the Secrets Series by Rachel K Stone were unique unto themselves and beyond entertaining. When I decided to read Adrian, truthfully, I didn't know what to expect. But, one thing is for sure Rachel blew my mind with this final book. Parts of the story were predictable, but there was plenty that were not and I was pleasantly surprised that Rachel was able to accomplish this. Seriously, she had my attention from beginning to end with this book and I was able to read it in one sitting. While this was a very dark story and a hard subject to delve into Rachel was able to deliver a book that gave the reader hope. Sometimes the dark will step into the light and show that leopards most certainly can change their spots. If this is a genre you enjoy reading and have no triggers I definitely recommend you read Adrian.

Dani was on vacation with her girlfriends enjoying their time together until her life was turned upside down. Now she finds herself in the hands of the dark market being auctioned off to live the rest of her life as a sex slave. Adrian has been sent to the auction to purchase women who will work in his organizations brothel. Once Adrian sets eyes on Dani he knows that she must be his...this one will not be shared. Even through the darkness that has brought these two together a bond develops which will change everything. Life as they knew it will never be the same again.

Read the trigger warnings … and if they don’t bother you then this is worth jumping into. A vacation turns into a nightmare of epic proportions for Daniella. She becomes a victim of the sex traffickers and finds herself purchased by Adrian.

Adrian sees her and it’s insta lust .. he has to have her for himself. Dani is strong though … and she learns to go with the punches.

There is so much packed into this … you see the backstory of how “families” get into this and the power behind a select few. There is no black and white once emotions get involved.

A lot of action … backstabbing… running … and also passion … lots of steam between the two once Dani gives herself over to make the best of the situation she is in.

A standalone dark romance that is Book #5 in the Secrets Series. What is supposed to be a fun, stress-free vacation becomes a nightmare for Dani when she is kidnapped and trafficked in a brothel. She is purchased by Adrian, who is instantly attracted to her and keeps her for himself. This book is hot, dark, and kept me engaged from the very first chapter!

This is Book 5 in the Secrets Series It is a stand-alone. It is a forced proximity, dark romance book. There is violence and sex trafficking in the book so mind your triggers. Dani is on vacation with friends when she is drugged and taken to be auctioned off along with several other girls.
Adrian is at the auction to buy girls to staff his families "business" but upon seeing Dani he buys her and decides to keep her as his alone hiding her from his family.
This book is fast-paced and full of drama and action. It has some twists in it as well. But it has a perfect HEA for Adrian and Dani.

What a wonderful story this was. We follow Dani who is with her friends on their dream vacation and while she is enjoying herself she becomes a victim of human traffickers. When she is auctioned off to strangers without her knowledge, her nightmare begins. She is lucky that she is seen by Adrian and he does everything he can to have the winning bid and that he has her and will not let her go. It is not easy at first because the choice he made at that moment puts both of them in danger. There is drama, tension and lots of steamy and hot spicy moments. Highly recommended!

Adrian is a great book that is full of spice and drama. Make sure to check your trigger warnings as Dani and abducted while vacationing in Thailand and is put into sex trafficking. The moment Adrian sees her at the market he knows that he must purchase her at all costs. Little does Adrian know that at all costs means his family that he must turn in to not only free no only Dani but himself. Years later he is released from prison to try and rebuild the life he and Dani wanted for themselves while she was in captivity, but does she still want that now that she’s been freed?.

That being said, it truly was a good book. Though I don't think much of Adrian's family business, or his role in it, I did enjoy his protective nature towards Dani.

Dani was just looking for a fun vacation. Instead, she ends up drugged, kidnapped, and auctioned to a brothel. Fun times indeed.

Loved the dynamics between Adrian and Dani. Will his family and history be Dani's downfall, or will Dani's light be a new life for Adrian?

Great, intense read.

Adrian is a dark, gritty read and if you have triggers you may want to read the warnings first. This book had me on the edge of my seat from start to finish.

Adrian and Dani have an incredibly unconventional beginning to say the least. Their journey is definitely not an easy one that's for sure. Their story left me shaking my head wondering how this just happened but at the same time glad that it did.

Check your trigger warnings before reading this book. The MFC Daniela is on vacation with friends in Thailand when she is drugged and kidnapped by a man she meets. She is then put up auction by a sex trafficking group. Adrian is buying women for a brothel run by his mafia group. He sees Daniela and wants her for himself. He tries to keep her and hide her. This story has action, violence and drama as well as spice.
