If you are a fan of The Hunger Games you are gonna love these books!! The world is unique and vividly comes alive as you read. The characters are quirky, clever survivors with a sprinkling of the big bad evil corporate drones. It’s fun, engaging and a wonderfully entertaining read. Absolutely loved it!.

These three novels follow Taylor, a young woman and the main character, from her where she grew up in an adversity zone to becoming a professor at PanTech. Along the way she faces adversity, love, friendship and life lessons in trust. Taylor takes her love for animals and creates a new specialty, has many exciting adventures, finds great friends, foils plots and overcomes whatever she comes up against. The PanTech trilogy is a basic good verses evil with a wonderful imagination that is a totally believable alternative for our lives today. The ending is satisfactory and ties almost all the threads together. I could definitely see the possibility for a spin off series or two based on this trilogy’s ending.
Genre(s): young adult, dystopian, strong female lead Bad Language: none Intimate Scenes/Reference: mild for kissing only Violence: mild descriptive, nothing graphic or gorey Substance Abuse: none Mental Health: anger, obsession, selfishness Addiction: non chemical, preferences for virtual worlds.

This trilogy is one of the most enjoyable reads I have had in a long time! The story develops around the central character of Taylor and the dystopian society in which she lives, charting her journey from living in one of the adversity zones to becoming a Pan Tech Professor and ultimately a heroine as human life hangs in the balance. Throughout the trilogy the story develops both her character and those of the human and non-human characters around her allowing the reader to become fully immersed in Taylor’s rollercoaster ride of emotions - love, hate, loyalty and betrayal this trilogy has it all! From beginning to end you are immersed in an all too believable story and left in heart rendering anguish for our unlikely heroine as you wonder what awaits her in the future and whether she will be reunited with those who helped make her who she is.

SHADOWFALCON: A bit different than the books I normally read but I really enjoyed it! I loved how it gave a fully developed back story to Taylor and why she made the decisions she did. It had beautifully developed characters and world. I especially loved the shadowfalcon and would love to read more stories about Ghost and Taylor.
INSURRECTION: I loved reading this. I am enjoying this story immensely. I still love Ghost and Taylor and I can’t wait to read more of their adventures! I like how Taylor thinks and how her mind works. This is a very exciting series! I look forward to reading the next adventure!
PANDEMIC: What a catastrophe. I do hope Linda and Taylor’s prediction for the human race is wrong…maybe not. They were the one to create this dreadful situation. I think the enhanced animals will do better. I love this series even though it isn’t my usual genre. I loved reading this book!
This is all three books of this young adult dystopian series in one convenient package. The stories are well written and easy to read, although a bit disturbing at times as is common with a dystopian setting. The characters are well done and certainly drive the stories as they try to fix what is broken. The resulting stories include plenty of action, mystery and intrigue throughout. Overall, the stories were quite good and having all the book together here is very convenient.
Recommended.

I normally love a good dystopian series. I loved the hunger games as well as Divergent series, this one was a bit slower for me, and a little more difficult to dive into.
