John Arms, Evangelist for the Fractional World, returns for his second book proclaiming his vision for the rise of Fractional.
In his first book, John showed us how to consult your way to full-time employment. Now he takes a more academic look at the job market, the economy and the changing nature of work to show us a future in which the job market as we know it is no more, and the the majority of workers are working for themselves, not large, soulless corporations.
John explains how fractional allows experienced executives to capitalize on their valuable experience in ways that their corporate jobs never will. He explains the opportunities these execs have to maximize their income, sense of accomplishment, and happiness by becoming their own boss.
John also addresses the demand side of the equation by explaining why hiring fractional is right for over-stressed CEOs, too. Fractionals can relieve some of their burden and provide impact immediately upon joining the team, and do so at a fraction of the cost of full-time. Fractionals are unique in that they can work alongside the CEO as more of a peer than a subordinate because the fractional is able to speak openly and honestly, without a subordinate's fear of saying something that might impact his position.
Read Revolt, and you won't think about the workplace the same again.
