It ends up being anything but simple when attackers mount a bloody coup against the government and we are caught in the middle.
Outnumbered, outgunned, outmaneuvered, we find ourselves in a desperate battle to protect those counting on us and stay alive. As we learn the true nature of the traitor behind the coup and the enemy we face, we realize that at stake is not just our survival, but the fate of nations.

This fourth book starts slightly differently than the others, as the book starts with romantic vibes and a life crisis our favourite MMC is going through, if he's going to follow through this long distance relationship with his lover or not. This book is the 4th installment in the series of stories of Unit 22. The narrative gives the reader a flashback and background of previous stories which makes this book eligible to be read as a standalone one but if one has read all three they will be able to connect with the characters at an emotional level.
After reading through all three I felt an amazing character development of the characters of the story. We see a soldier breaking down and standing up again, fighting for his country, learning from his mistakes and being best at his job.
