I loved this story. I enjoyed reading about Miranda and Lucas and how they allowed their friendship to flourish to something more despite the drama and scheming. Loved this love story so much!

This was def different from what I have read in the past. I did enjoy the build up, it wasn't as romantic as I would like but I liked the journey and development of the characters. There was a depth to them and their situations that was intriguing. I can't wait to see what other thing are in store with these characters.

Baby 🔥🔥🔥🔥
There's nothing better than reading a story about love, education, family and friendships! Lucas and Miranda were both strong characters, they were highly educated with a strong work ethic! They had some c!hallenges, Miranda dealing with workplace hostility, while Lucas was navigating his business at an early age and living up to the family name! A blind person could see that Kiana didn't mean Lucas any good, Tyson was a dud and Desmond, I just think it was timing, however he had some background stuff that he should have to Miranda from the start! Please with the ending!

Lucas & Miranda exhibited a slow burning romantic friends to lovers story. They’ve always had a connection but both set on a path for success. I love how they were established separately & then achieved more success together. I didn’t think he’d ever wake up & I worried she wouldn’t get out of her way. Jonas & Martin were the best brothers to have. Desmond, Tyson & Kiana got on my nerves & I hope they stay away. I’m ready for the next installment.

Amazing love stories like these are so needed
I fell in love with this story after the first chapter. This isn't your typical Black romance story. I loved the maturity that was throughout this story. Just the right amount of drama and steaminess between Miranda and Lucas. I'm excited to read more about this couple!!

Unexpected
This started slow but did keep my interest. I had no idea while reading of the things that happened throughout the story. The main characters were good to read about. The ending was no where near what I was expecting. Really good for 1st novel.

Great Read!
The storyline is well developed and the writing is good. I was hooked on the first page and did not want the book to end. You will not be disappointed. I can't wait for the next novel by Monica Cox.

When I See You Again
Miranda and Lucas were quite a team. What they hadn't realize they had always had feelings for each other. The drama brought it to the forefront.

Love the storyline and the pace. Ms. Cox has a way of pulling the reader onto the pages. Looking forward to the continuation.

Friends to Lovers!!!
This debut friends to lovers book by this author was very enjoyable to read. I loved reading how Miranda renewed her friendship with Lucas. What started as a rekindled friendship developed into so much more. This story contains deception, jealousy and intrigue as well as a deep and abiding love between Miranda and Lucas. We also got to see the difficulties that women of color have to go through in the workplace environment. I couldn't stand Kiana, Tyson and Brett and I was glad that their scheming didn't get them anywhere. Desmond was just plain creepy with his stalkerous tendencies. I loved Jonas and his sense of humor. I hope he and Martin will have books as well as Kenya so she can be in a healthy, loving relationship of her own. All in all, a very good book with an interesting storyline.

Ummm, I’m conflicted…🧐🤦🏾♀️😵💫 just give me minute (twenty four 🤭) to recuperate from the intellectual cacophony of chauvinism, gaslighting, objectification & misandrism…dazzle with donkey do or just shovel BS🥴‼️”Legacy Unleashed” (3.75⭐️’s was a decent read and entertaining (until it wasn’t). Between the excessive character tangents, suggestive banter, & the social ambiguities I was astonished, offended & exasperated with Miranda, Lucas & gaggle of colleagues 🤔🥴🤷🏾♀️‼️Thereafter, to my surprise Author Cox intimates this book “Legacy Unleashed” “was a love story”. 👀 WHAT⁉️…More so, “the next story of Lucas and Miranda will be a romance.”NEXT 🥴⁉️ Well, if “Legacy Unleashed” was the “love” pull then I’m gonna (respectfully) pass on 🙂↔️their romance story 🤷🏾♀️‼️

This book wasn’t what I expected but give me ever I needed and so much more. Lucas and Miranda’s love story was simple amazing!!
They started off as study partners and slowly became friends before the lost contact with each other. When the reunited everyone and everything was against their just working together because they saw what they tried to ignore because they had other things going on in their lives.
But in the end love and business wins!! Definitely a must read! Can’t wait to read part 2!!
