I’m usually a sucker for the whole time travel trope. But this was basic and boring sorry. A lot of 80’s references which i appreciated but the characters for me didn’t really mean a lot and the whole romance was lame and unnecessary.
I enjoyed the story, especially the time travel elements - I thought it was a fun take on time travel. I appreciated the positive messages and Megan's consistent intentions of helping people. I definitely think this ebook would benefit from a good proofreader, though.
This book was alright. I felt as though too much of it was spent referencing different songs and 80s themes. I didn't really connect with the characters and they were often a bit melodramatic and unrealistic. It would've been nice to hear more of the parents' stories as they grew up. I also didn't really love the time-traveling concept or the magical theme in general. I feel that this could've been a great drama with some tweaks.
