The End: Survival of the Desparate

Rate this book
When the world ends, family is all you have. Even if you have to make it yourself.

After The Wreckage is declared, college student Ashla is thrown into a frightening new world where it's no longer dog-eat-dog; it's man-eat-man. In a world of small colonies and cannibals, Ashla finds sanctuary with a small but growing group, becoming their leader's queen. But when things go from bad to worse, Ashla may have to sacrifice more than she bargained for. After all, it takes more than love to survive the apocalypse.

The End is an apocalyptic nightmare novella with instances of adult situations which may be triggering for some.

This one for some might hit hard closer to home than they expect. Real life events are intwined into the fiction. Hopefully this book would never truly come to happen, but it's definitely a warning to 'love our world now'. There is relationships in the background story that makes this the complete package.

Do you love apocalyptic? A heroine that fights for all she believes in? This one is for you, be ready to go on a trip. I loved reading every minute, the stories, front and in the back. My heart felt so much. You'll fall in love with the characters and root for them till the very last page.

The Purge/Bird box/The happening

This book gave me crazy vibes. I hate the feeling that this can happen one day and I hate it. This book was a quick scary read. I like how everything playout at the end but this was crazy in a level of scary.

This one was scary because is something that can happen one day and ugh it make me feel uneasy now I have my head spinning. Thinking about all the things that can happen.

Well Rayne I don't know how do you come up with these things but wow mind blowing.

Another great one by Rayne Matthews! She has a way of sucking you into her worlds and this one is no different. It's scary to think that something like The End could actually happen! One of the best things about her stories is not only are they dark, twisted, and sometimes crazy but they have realistic possibilities. From mc clubs to this apocalyptic read, she does it all. I really enjoyed getting sucked into this one.

Really good story. I enjoy stories like this. Where calamity strikes and survival is brutal. Colonies created and poachers unaliving and consuming woman. I loved ash and callum they were great as king and queen of the colony. There was a bittersweet moment and I was so happy . The ending I was so not expecting but I was happy that everyone was happy .

Rayne always has a way of making you think outside the box. She writes these stories that makes you go hmmm. This was one of those stories but like always I was consumed as usual. I did not see that ending coming but then again, I never do when it comes to Rayne.
