Clyde thinks he's in luck when the hottest babe on campus starts asking after him . . .
Until he's confronted by her ex. A jock, who claims that Amira isn't all she seems to be. And that getting her into bed . . . might not be a great idea.
Ignoring his warnings, Clyde meets up with Amira, hoping to have some fun.
But he quickly learns that something unnatural is going on inside Amira's body.
Something . . . inhuman.

This is an extreme horror short. If you don't crude content or gore . . . don't read this story.

okay well.. maybe i should’ve minded my damn business but of course i was curious and curiosity killed my cat..

this book is very and i mean VERY disturbing and disgusting. i knew what to expect but i didn’t expect this horrible shit? it’s actually not that bad, if it was a horror movie maybe just MAYBE it would’ve been so good.

this whole time my jaw dropped and i was like “😀” because yk.. a tapeworm coming out of someone’s ass and going right back in isn’t normal, scary too. now i’m scared for my ass and i shouldn’t have been so dumb to read this book..

anyway the dude who’s name is clyde. this whole book is in his pov and he’s fucking weird, he says he’s not a pervert but well.. that’s a lie and i’m not forgetting how down bad this mf even is.

“I don’t think I could possibly say no to a girl–any girl. If a geriatric coated in sores and leaking snot opened her legs then I’d jump right in. I’m open to any kink, any figure, and any woman.”
yeah that’s a bit.. ahem. well, it’s definitely something and i wouldn’t go anywhere near his ass if this is how he thinks. he says he’s not really ugly but the way he’s describing himself.. oh yea he’s pretty fucking ugly.

i don’t want to talk or think about about this book anymore. i wish i can go back in time and stop myself from reading this shit, now i’m itching all over. the way i keep traumatizing myself is proof i have no self-love.

Boy, oh boy, was this a story that made me taste my breakfast for a second time. Poor Clyde, our lead, was just a lonely, unpopular college freshman. Not much going for him, until his crush pounced on him like a hungry lion to a gazelle. Why? Well, I can't get into all sorts of spoilery territory, but the payoff is well worth the effort. This was definitely an extreme horror, but not so over the top, that you wanted to gag. Good use of the gore and sexual content by Judith Sonnet here. This made me remember once, many years ago, when a very little Peter Topside was in science class. And the teacher stated to everyone how you could get rid of a tapeworm by holding a fork full of food in front of your face. Once the little bugger crawled out of your mouth, you could grab it, yank it out, and be cured. And, no, that wasn't a joke, either. So, naturally, I needed to read this...for purely research purposes...not because I'm a horror hound. You get it...worms...

A very short vile and disgusting read...but...that's Judith Sonnet for you!
It was wild and insane from start to finish...full on worms and sex!!
The best bit for me was when Clyde gets it together with Amira and he see's the very first worm...what a "bummer" is all I'm going to say!!
Judith Sonnet always delivers the very best for me...I love her work.
This book may not be for everyone...so check it out first!

I went into this read completely blind and wow was I pleasantly surprised. This was vile, disgusting, horrifying and disturbed. I'm angry at myself for not reading it sooner. If you love gross extreme horror and you're a fan of Judith then this is one you're going to want to pick up. I know Judith has been working on more long-form horror and I'm excited for what she has coming for us in 2025 as she has really nailed short form extreme horror and this story is a perfect example of this.

The characters have a lot of depth despite being only 50 odd pages, you really get attached to them making this read incredibly anxiety inducing. You root for the main character despite knowing his chances are slim to none. The premise is also very interesting, certainly haven't read anything like it before! Loved it!

In this story we follow a collage student who isn’t the most “attractive”, when one of the most attractive girls in college seems to be looking for him at parties he begins to get nervous. One night she finds him in his dorm and tells him how she feels about him, confused but still wanting her he lets her do what she wants with him, but things aren’t always as good as they seem.

This was such a good short story, I love a good std story and this one was definitely unique, the end was actually so creepy too, this would make such a cool movie.

What a story that was, the story really kept you hooked in, and the cover by Christy is awesome it really did paint a picture of Amira. The slithering slime and smells to the claustrophobic tunnel experience, getting backed in to see the gore and worms coming out every orifice to that smile. Top notch story telling here!!

With this story, Judith Sonnet will worm her way into your reading life and win you over with a viciously disgusting little tale of perversion, body horror, and depravity. Don't open this can of worms, unless you're prepared for worm-filled romance and sex-hungry freshman angst. The worm turns quickly in the world of Sonnet!

You can.... But I wouldn't, again. I truly don't even how to rate this in stars. Like... How do you rate this book? this absolutely HORRIFYING book? I should have minded my business but I was never good at that. I am perpetually nosy. Maybe I will learn a lesson for the next disturbing book thrown my way but doubtful. The premise was certainly... Interesting. I believe that my jaw was on the floor from the first page. Take that as you may.

Tapewyrmin by Judith Sonnet is an extreme short horror story. It is pretty much about a hot girl at college that wants to get with a nerdy guy. She is infected with some kind of STI involving worms. This book is an easy ready but is pretty gross and graphic, so avoid if you have a weak stomach but I personally found it a good read.

I’m surprised there are not a lot of reviews on this one because it’s so good! The part in the book where he first discovers the worm…sees it for the first time!? And then just the whole portal type thing like the story was short but so creative.
