The Execution Advantage: A No-Nonsense Guide to Turning Your Strategy into Results is a nonfiction business self-help and growth book that explores how top-performing companies excel. Loudon explains that they use things like embracing adaptability and changing to fit the market, prioritizing tasks effectively, and empowering their workforce to make decisions and be creative. I'm not sure I would necessarily agree completely with his analysis of these big companies, as I think their size makes a lot of the aspects he's described difficult. But he does make good arguments here, and I think the overall advice and information included is worth the read if you are business-minded. Loudon offers his advice in ways like highlighting the difference between hard and soft resources, with hard meaning easy-to-define things like money and technology, and soft meaning the dynamics between people, which are much more moldable and ever-changing. The strengths of this book are in the framework and structure of the information and the actionable tools Loudon provides in order to put some of the suggestions to work. Leaders at all different levels will find useful and powerful anecdotes and advice within. The author's experience and ability to communicate his ideas make this a good read.

To end, I'd like to thank the author, Alexander Loudon, the publisher, Warden Press, and Goodreads for the privilege of winning a digital copy of The Execution Advantage in a giveaway. I will share my review to Amazon and Barnes & Noble as well.
