— My d*ck when my father's ex-wife gets within ten feet of me. — Not being able to get one foot closer. — Hiding my unrelenting infatuation so I can keep her safe. — Being nearly 100% sure I'm my little brother's biological dad. — Wanting to make him more brothers when I'm bound by my father's ingenious and deadly restraining order.
That man literally used my woman to make me kneel, And he will rue the f*cking day...
This smutty second chance romance is a full-length novel — a dark and twisted tale of one man's crusade to reclaim the family he's been forced to love from afar. The rules were made to break him, but they only pissed him off. His hands have been tied so long, he's got scars from the binds, and this obsessed, morally gray, long-distance dom refuses to comply a moment longer than necessary. He has villainous plans of his own, and he will not rest until he's provided his first and only love with the life he promised her. This story has multiple explicit sex scenes and is intended for adults. ** Please check your kinks and triggers...
Kinks: stalking, voyeurism, breeding, bondage, toys, some rough stuff, a little backdoor stimulation, size difference, and a splash of lactation.
Triggers: possiblyany of the above kinks, swearing, and violence — including potentially confronting imagery around physical and sexual assault.
Honestly, once the premise sort of unfolded, I should've DNF because if there's a thing I have a hard time swallowing is a long ass separation. But since I had chosen this as a book for our reading challenge, I didn't feel like hunting around for another one.
Untold Restraint is the third book in the Filthy Rich & Kinky series and it continues the story of the Montgomery brothers that first began with Cyrus and Daisy in Daisy Unchained. While Quin and Kira's story can be read as a standalone, I highly recommend starting with Cyrus and Daisy because their story would introduce and provide much context for the main antagonist of this book—Jack Montgomery. I was shocked and disgusted by the cruelty and torment that Jack inflicted on Quin and Kira. This book more than exceeded my expectations because I came for the smut but got angst and a spicy love story instead. What made Quin and Kira's relationship even more special was that their story was told in both the past and present—spanning almost a decade of longing and lust for each other. All because one evil man wanted to keep them from each other.
“I can wait as long as it takes. There’s nobody else, and there never will be. Only you.”
In the end, Quin and Kira's story surprised me in the best of ways and I love that we might be getting Lucian Montgomery's book next. As one of Jack's former but reluctant enforcer, Lucian played a role in Quin's character development but also his relationship with Kira as well. I loved seeing Cyrus and Daisy again as well as Thaddeus and Bo from Intolerant. The author also introduced the rest of the Montgomery brothers such as Lucian, Darius, Atticus, and Dusty who all played a role in Quin's revenge against Jack. I can't wait to read their books in the future. Although Quin and Kira's was difficult to read at times because of what Jack made them go through, I loved seeing how they were able to survive and thrive because of it. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is looking for an angsty and incredibly spicy read with a beautiful second-chance love story between two soulmates who persevered and never gave up each other.

Kira and Quin Quin's father is a rich, evil, abusive, psychotic piece of shit. His mission in life is to have kids until he has a daughter (reason is unknown). He has 16 kids, all men/boys. Quin is number five, which is why his name is Quintus. He marries a women until she is pregnant, and this will divorce or annul the marriage. He doesn't give a shit about his kids other than controlling their lives and forcing them into positions within his company. When Quin is 18, he is splitting wood with an axe to relieve some mental tension at his home. In frustration, the axe slips from his hands and nearly hits a stranger, almost 16 year old Kira. She is PISSED, and tells him to stand still and let her throw the axe at him. He profusely apologizes, and agrees to stand still. She doesn't truly want to hit him with the axe, but her aim is bad. The blunt end of the axe hits his head, and blood starts pouring. She panics and tends to his head wound the best she can with no supplies by using her dress to stop the bleeding. They go into the house so she can tend his wound better. After bandaging his head, he give her some of his clothes to change into. They flirt. He passionately kisses her. He refuses to go any farther with her because she is under 18, but tells her he will wait for her. She demands he write her filthy letters until she turns 18. Their fathers, who were having a business meeting, find the two in his room. Quin's father is pissed with seeing the two together. Kira mouths off to Quin's father about how reckless his son is. His father just laughs. For the next two years, Quin writes filthy love letters to Kira and stalks her. Because Quin's father is a psycho, she isn't able to communicate with Quin at all. Shortly before her 18th birthday, Quin tells her their relationship has to stay a secret to protect her from being used as leverage by his father. Kira's father throws an excessive party to celebrate Kira's 18th birthday, but a bunch of her fathers business acquaintances come to the party, including Quin's father and Quin. As soon as Quin gets to her party, he flees to the roof. She finds him, and then they are caught by his fathers henchmen. Quin is shot in the shoulder during the scuffle. She runs, and she is caught. Kira begs to help stop Quin's bleeding. His father will only allow her to help if she signs a contract agreeing to marry him and give him a child. After getting pregnant, he will annul their marriage. She agrees because she is desperate to help Quin. She is taken to the room where Quin is being held. She tends his wounds and tells him about the contract she signed. Quin is horrified and determined to help her get out of the contract, to no avail. She just wants him to take her virginity and breed her so she will carry his child instead of his fathers. He agrees, and they have sex multiple times to raise their chances of him fathering her child. After she is retrieved from the room, she is taken to a room to marry Quin's father, and then he rapes her while she is restrained. Quin sneaks into her room later. He cleans her up and takes as much of his father's semen from Kira's vagina, and he breeds her after she begs for it. They do this for a couple weeks until she discovers she is pregnant. Quin's father agrees to annul the marriage if Quin and Kira agree to wear monitors that force them to be no closer than 10 feet from each other for as long as he says. They reluctantly agree. For the next ten years, they pine for one another. He secretly stalks her when it won't draw suspicion from his father. Kira has a son, Curty. He has red hair like Quin, but Kira's father also had red hair. Neither Kira nor Quin know Curty's paternity. They are both scared to know the truth, but still want to know. For the last few years, Quin has been given permission by his father to have a relationship with his "brother". Quin makes an offhand comment to Curty that he built one of his younger brothers a tree house. Curty immediately wants one, too. Quin sees this as the perfect opportunity to spend time with Curty as well as Kira. Jack believes he masterminds a torture for Quin by making him build a treehouse for Curty. During this time, Kira and Quin watch each other sexually, and decide to have another baby. On one occasion, Kira leaves him naked photos and an empty cup for him to cum into. He does, and she immediately inseminates herself with his cum. Another time, he cums into her pump ejaculating dildo that is a replica of his cock. She then fucks herself with it and inseminates herself. After a week, the treehouse is complete, and Quin has to stay away from Kira again. He stalks her more and digs through her trash to see if he can find period supplies. He doesn't. His father then decides to torture Quin and all of his other sons by forcing them all to go to Disneyland. While on the trip, two other brothers discover the relationship and history between Kira and Quin and the suspected paternity of Curty. For years, the older group of brothers have been plotting their father's downfall. Quin tells the brothers they need to expedite the plans because Kira is pregnant. They agree. They majorly fuck with their dad, and imprison him. Quin and Kira live happily ever after with their kids.
I LOVED Quin and Kira's story. They loved each other so much and their love was fierce. And OF COURSE, I loved all the kinky stuff.

Didn't feel as kinky as the two before. Big, big emphasis on getting her pregnant, so definitely check all the tws. Their past is heavy.
Jack Montgomery finally got what he deserved, hopefully he'll stay where he is 🤞🏼
Gotta say, Lucius Loosh Montgomery stole the show for me. Trained killer who hates being touched, but slowly starts to play to heal his inner child. I'm so excited for his book, even more thrilled it's with Darius and curious how Atticus fits into this.
3.5 Stars I love the brothers relationships in this series, and that held true in this installment. I think what didn't work for me in this book, was that this was a second chance type story, and most of the book took place in the past. It does support their love and their story, but I just don't enjoy that format. Add in all of the horrific things that happened to these two (and most of the brothers and wives that we've seen so far) and it just wasn't all that enjoyable to me. I did like the story though, and am very excited for Loosh to be in the limelight of the next book.
this one was a tad bit angstier than the first two, especially with the forbidden love aspect & we already know what he’s like but why is the daddy being extra mean to quin?
& this side quest of the garage bathroom… come on lmao.
at least loosh is a solid brother [to be fair they all are] & i can’t wait to see him get his hea in the next book.
Having read the two earlier books in this series, I was eagerly anticipating the release of Untold Restraint. I am a little bit in love with the Montgomery brothers and their story, and this book didn't disappoint! It was everything I wanted and more. I didn't believe it was possible for Thaddy to be knocked from my top spot, but I think Quin might have just achieved it, and I know for a fact that once we get to Loosh's book, I'm going to love him too. While the earlier books highlighted issues with Jack, the patriarch of the Montgomery family, this book really delved into the way he is with his children, showing the full extent of the evil that lurks within him and the levels he will go to in order to remain in control of his children. It was dark, and some of it was extremely hard to read, but it was necessary for Quin's story and really helped develop the world that the brothers live in and explain their behaviours as they set out to take him down. Kira is a firecracker of an FMC, and when she first meets Quin in his garage, there is an instant attraction, and they feed off each other's personalities so well. They have to wait a couple of years to be together due to Jack, but Quin writes filthy letters to her and stalks her, and the chemistry between them sizzles! It's so hot. Unfortunately, Jack gets wind and tries his best to destroy their love by hurting Quin and Kira's dad, forcing her to marry and have sex with him in order for their protection. It's a despicable plot by him, and he genuinely thinks he has won, so I enjoyed the clever twists and turns that appeared throughout the book. It's delightfully kinky, and while a lot of their intimacy can't be acted out with each other due to physical constraints, there are still some incredibly spicy scenes with lots of dirty talk, toy use, and a heavy focus on breeding, so if that is your kink, you will really enjoy this book. I loved the way the author kept the story suspenseful as I waited to see how they would break free from Jack's stronghold, and the involvement of the other Montgomery brothers, especially Loosh, really helped to build up the story with a mix of comedic moments, corruption, spice, and danger. It checked so many boxes for me and definitely deserves 5 stars, in my opinion. I can't wait for more in the series.
Wow did this take a dark turn. As each book progressed in this series, @ElenaDawne wrote in even more layers. But this one took a "dark romance" turn and I am not sure I am ready. This is pure personal preference because the vibe / tone of the book was in the same writing style at the others, and very kink-heavy. But I have never really read dark romance, and this is by far the farthest I have gone on that scale.
Because I have read the other two books, I understand the relationship that Jack (the patriarch) has with his sons, which is not good and more transactional. In this book it all comes to a head. The torture that he put Quin and Kira through was horrible and at times tough to read. The book is split into two parts -- their past, when Quin and Kira first meet and the revenge that Jack asserts onto Quin because of his affection for Kira; then the present, where these two have been dealing with the fallout and continued abuse for nine years.
I think that my rating of the book is lower simply because of my personal preference reading. This was very dark and heavy because of all the trauma Jack inflicted, and how Quin and Kira chose to keep their relationship going. All of the smut in this book is related to their breeding kink and how that plays out when they cannot be in the same room together. There were some parts I needed to gloss over at times because it was a LOT.
But, when it ended, was I still thinking about Loosh, the Montgomery brother who used to be Jack's right hand man and enforcer? Yes. Will I read his book if @ElenaDawne writes it? Yup. This series, man it's wild.
I really enjoyed Quin's character because he's both innocent and a skilled dirty talker. He was acting like an average horny teen but well at least his "filthy letters" to Kira were poetic. I just love how much he cared about Kira.
Kira is feisty and incredibly sassy, which I loved. It's refreshing to see a dominant FMC in a relationship instead of the usual alpha male with a meek girl trope. I wanted a strong FMC and Kira is really the one. (Except for the fact idk why she actually wanted to throw an axe at a stranger/mmc all of a sudden lol. She is crazy like that yeah.)
Now let's talk about how much I hate Jack. Jack is a real villain. Through the entire book I just wanted to kill him? Imagine you have a girl you have liked for a long time and she is practically your girlfriend. Your dad knows it but still decides to marry your girlfriend anyway. Like how can you not want to kill this guy?!
Overall, this book was really good. However, the constant emphasis on "fertility" and Quin's repeated desire to get Kira pregnant felt old-fashioned and grated on my nerves. But since I was warned about it before reading, I can't complain too much.
Quin (H) and Kira (h) share an intense and forbidden romance, entangled in a web of cruel barriers constructed by Quin's manipulative father, Jack, who’s also Kira’s ex. Spanning over a decade, Quin and Kira feel an unyielding love for one another, hindered by a restraining order and other machination engineered to keep them apart. The story paints a raw picture of their decade-long struggle, intertwining past and present to fight for their love with a fierce longing that defies separation. The emotional grit of Quin and Kira's bond resonates throughout, contrasting starkly with the torment inflicted upon them. Their passionate connection is juxtaposed with explicit scenes and a dark, angsty tone, exploring stalking, bondage, and sensitive issues, to create a spicy yet turbulent love story. The Montgomery family's dysfunctionality, spearheaded by Jack's malevolence and abuse, unites the brothers in seeking retribution against their tormentor and adds depth to the story. Quin and Kira are amazing as the persevere for their love amid adversity, making for a pointed and steamy read. Hot and steamy romance with lots of drama, angst, and emotions.
I came for the spice, but stayed for the intriguing plot. Wow that was so good. There was mystery and suspense involved with their intimate scenes if that makes sense? I have truly never read anything like this before.
And long-distance b—-ding was not among the things I wanted to add to my knowledge, but I don’t have any regrets. Poor Luscious for being exposed to all that insanity.
The SA was rough to read but it was nice how he kept her grounded.
The stalking was also so wholesome. I sigh softly and shake my head, as I smile at him. “You’re insanely fucking delicious. You know that?” He blushes under the praise and shrugs. “Most women would be terrified by the intensity I’ve stalked you with, over the years.” “Luckily, I’m not most women. I’m your woman, so I think it’s flattering and helpful. Your brand of stalking makes me feel loved and taken care of.”
And he had to cuff himself to the bed because he was sleepwalking to her! Either this level of obsession or nothing!
And can he also send me those letters and maybe the recordings with the complementary accessories? Ok maybe that’s taking it too far. I’m not ready but if my husband does it in the future, I don’t think I’ll mind ;)
Wow... Elena sure did not hold back writing about Kira and Quin's twisted love story! All that spice and more... 🌶️🌶️🥵🥵 My heart broke for them after the extreme measures Jack put through to keep them apart, but to witness his eventual demise was awfully sweet 😈They could not have planned it better and he definitely got what he deserved for all the tortured pain he put all the Montgomery brothers through.
Kira and Quin were the epitome of love which only grew with time and patience. They were both really strong characters and Kira was definitely a spitfire 🔥 whilst Quin would move heaven and earth to keep her safe without question. I'm so glad they finally got their (filthy) HEA and cannot wait for Loosh's story ❤️.

This is a great series! Be prepared with this particular story for an emotional read in the beginning. It takes us back 10 years ago to when Quin and Kira first meet and fall in love (they are the sweetest). And then Jack rips that away and we know that it is 10 years in the future and they are still not together. And not only that but Jack has done his damage to both them and Jack's supposed son Curty. I had a really hard time getting through that first part because it was truly sad and a bit unbelievable that all that could have happened. Jack is truly evil. But - don't worry - he gets what's coming to him finally and there is such a Happily Ever After in this book!
Believe it or not, this one is truly spicy!! They both burn for each other and Jack's games only make their love and need for one another stronger. And the letters Quin wrote to Kira 🔥🔥🔥
Reading the other books in the series would give you some context to the characters, but this still works as a standalone. Quin and Kira were together when they were young, but were torn apart due to Quin’s father Jack. Jack instead marries Kira, not because he loves her, but to torment Quin and to prove how malicious he is. Through all the, Quin and Kira continues to love each other, even though Jack continues to go to great lengths to keep them apart. Quin and Kira’s love never wavered, and they find ways to prove their love to the other. I think the part I liked most is how devoted Quin is to Kira (and vice versa) and how despite the distance and time, they’re both very loyal and earnestly waiting for the time to be together.

These books are always deliciously kinky and crazy and this was no exception.
Quin and Kira first met and had an instant connection years ago however a crazy turn of events has made it so here they are over 10 years later forced apart even though they may share a son...
The journey these two have been on is crazy and seeing all the brothers get some justice on there pos dad was great.
Also can we talk about all the creative ways these two went about getting what they wanted without technically being close enough to trigger the restraining order his Dad forced on them?
I loved Quin and Kira's story. From start to finish this book had my attention. I liked that we got their past and present stories. Filled with so many different emotions, drama, angst, spice and much more. I loved both main characters. It broke my heart at some of the things they had to go through. Seeing the growth in them and all they overcome is what makes it such a great read. The connection between them was undeniable and the steam was so good!! This was my first book by Elena Dawne and I was quite impressed. I loved it and I look forward to reading more of her work!!
Kira and Quin exemplified the kind of love that could only flourish with the passage of time and perseverance. Both Kira and Quin were extremely powerful characters, with Kira being a fiery individual and Quin being willing to do anything in his power to ensure her safety without any doubt and without hesitation. I am overjoyed that they have at long last received their HEA, and I cannot wait to read Loosh's story.

Quin and Kira and the lengths Jack went to to break his son to bend to his will, I think I fumed for most of this book, the need for retribution and revenge was high!
Again, the smut and kinks were in high doses, even with a 10ft barrier in place...🥴 it was great to meet Loosh and a number of the other brothers once Quin got on board with them all working together to bring down Jack. That event was interesting, if a little OTT, but it all felt right and just at the end.
Sweet ending that left me content - I just next the next book!
DNF 16%. There were too many characters at the start with no context which made it very confusing. The time jump to the start was much better pacing and it would have been so much better if it started there. I ultimately didn’t finish because it was just so slow afterwards and the story instead of being a forbidden breedy romance with sexual tension was just sad. I didn’t realise this would be a heartbreaking story where the MMC and FMC would fall in love with an abusive father separating them, forcing himself and a marriage on the FMC. I loved wild oat milk but this isn’t what I wanted

This is one of those series that just keeps getting better as it goes on. Love how different each couples story is, even though they're overlapping and connected. Quinn and Kiras story was a little rougher to read than the previous two but it was well written and I felt the subject matter was handled well. I'm really hoping for the rest of the brothers to get a book also!!
I don’t know where to start. This book…so good. So moving. All the books on this series have so much insight the emotional pain of childhood trauma. The books take that trauma and transform it into love, both romantic and brotherly. And I love the dirty sex! I do need to say that whoever edited this needs to learn when to not use commas. Way to many and frequently incorrectly placed which makes the flow of reading jerky at times. Still loved all three books!
Poor Quin & Kira are forced to stay 10 feet apart with tracking devices or death will be at her doorstep. Quin’s farther Jack does his best to break them, thinking that he’s won by forcing Kira into a marriage and assaulting her her so she has his baby. But is it really Jack’s baby when Curty looks identical to Quin. Only time will tell. I thoroughly enjoyed this novel and how the story progressed.
Unlike the first 2 books in this series, Untold Restraint is waaaaaay darker!
Such a beautiful HEA, but getting there was a traumatizing experience
Quin & Kira fell in love at such a young age and truly experienced some devastating trauma. Reading how their story unfolded was painful. My heart was breaking for them both through this journey and the ending was pure bliss
First off I will probably read these books (3 so far) like 10 mor times, they are that good. Number 2 was my fave so far but this one i spent 70% of the time wondering how it is so enjoyable when the scenario is def no my cup of tea. It makes me wonder what I'm missing out there when sticking only to my preference. Future books will be anxiously awaited and are going to the top of my tbr list.
This book was probably the hardest one of Elena’s to read to date. Not because it’s a bad book but because the abuse suffered by the two MCs is torturous. I hurt for the first 2/3 of this book as I read their story, which is beautiful by the way despite it being a difficult read at the start. The last 1/3 of the book is where it lifts as everything starts to fall into place. I’d advise taking the triggers seriously for this one.
I really enjoyed this one. I feel we finally got some more insight into the crazy Montgomery Family and more of the brothers.
Wow my heart broke for Quinn. Him and Kira were beautifully written. I love that Curty was his son, I’m glad they got their HEA and he could experience fatherhood the right way this time.
Not gonna lie, I’m so anxious for Loosh now
