A friend and colleague of mine gave me a copy of this book. It is a classic and must read for those interested in preventing and analyzing component failures. The book is a wealth of information on the causes, symptoms and prevention of mechanical failures. I have used this book, and others like it, in accident investigations involving failures of components and equipment. It's well worth the time for EHS Pros to get a copy and become familiar with it.
