Credible, generic facts presented with a narrow scope of examples. Some examples are updated for 2022, others are heavily outdated. The order that the positives and negatives of any given topic are presented leaves the reader lacking a “big picture” understanding, inhibiting their ability to compare and contrast effectively. Author injects too much of her personal opinions for what is supposed to be a scientific textbook. Readers are less likely to be engaged with the text and apply eco-friendly actions to their lives when they feel repeatedly and personally blamed for the brunt of climate disasters.
