Taylor and Jonah's Story . . .

Taylor Gibson is Dr. Maloney’s receptionist at his psychiatric office. Tech guru Jonah McStay is trying to demo a new program he wrote called Veronica that could help Taylor sign patients into the office. Taylor, however, is afraid that means she will lose her job if she isn’t needed anymore. Jonah invites her to attend a Christmas party and their initial attraction begins to deepen. Not everything goes smoothly, but will those little bumps in the road straighten out as they try to start their relationship? Will he finally win her over?

Jonah meets Taylor at a sales pitch and they're instantly attracted to each other, although she thinks he's way out of her league. They plan to meet at a Christmas party, under the pretext of Jonah helping Taylor with her exam anxiety. All goes well until her college roommate Harley, with good intentions, tells Taylor that Jonah has a bit of a reputation. What he says thereafter is lovely.

Both Jonah and Taylor are such likeable characters and are so sexy together.
I have been loving this series of (smaller) age gap stories, and funny, cute, sexy, touching too. I really like this author's writing. Not all romance writers write well! And I think there's a special talent in making them short and succinct. Definitely worth a read. I am hoping there will be more books in this series, but it looks like all 3 girls are taken now!. If not I'll be sure to check out other books by the same author.

I have enjoyed this series, yet this was not my favorite of the books. The main characters (Jonah & Taylor) were fine, as was the writing itself. I'm prepared to suspend reality when I read an insta-love book (it's kinda expected) and this book didn't stretch it as far as some. Honestly, I think my lingering hesitancy here is the unnecessary added conflict near the end. It seemed superfluous, contrived, pety, naive, and childish. All of which went in contrast to the general feel of the book. (Also having read that particular friend's book too, it seemed out of character.) Taylor knew who she was spending the evening with, so her over the top, childish response soured my opinion of not only her, but the book in general.

Cute!!

I really enjoyed reading this one. Taylor who worked in a medical office and Jonah McStay who arrived for a meeting with her boss. Jonah was selling his “Veronica” Receptionist Replacement package. It was to enable offices to run more efficiently with checking in on a tablet. Kinda like we have MyChart but it still couldn’t replace someone completely. Taylor liked what she saw immediately as did Jonah. When Taylor went to the Lobster Truck to get lunch for all three of them Jonah decided to show her what “Veronica” could do when she came back into the office. He sat down afterwards to have lunch and talk with her and try to get to know her. Then… 🥰🥰🥰🥰💜💜💜💜😊😊😊😊

Taylor worked for a doctors office and just knew when Jonah came in she just knew he was trying to get rid of her and have her job being taken over by a computer. She was not happy he was there. Once she got to know him better things weren't as bad or as awkward as they were at first but she liked being in his company. Jonah showed her what it was like to be with a boss. She really started liking him being bossy. He also showed her how to overcome her fear on taking tests. That was her problem of why she was a receptionist instead of persueing her career.

I realize this is an instalove story, but I still felt that it could have had a little more content. I am also not sure why it is titled what it is because that is not what I got from the story. The story that I read does not seem to match the blip on its Goodreads landing page. He comes to show her boss a tablet that can make patient sign ins easier, and she feels that it will wind up making her job obsolete. He then invites her to his company's Christmas party where one of her roommates is the daughter of the owner. At the party, there's an encounter, a misunderstanding, and a promise made.

Loved Christmas love stories

Jonah and Taylor met at her office when he was the doctors next appointment. He's a big tech guy who was there to pitch a new system to the doctor. This scared her because it involved her job and the feelings their meeting brought up. She didn't know it but Jonah was having feelings too. He invited her out to a Christmas party and that's truly where it all began. It was funny the way reading this book brought back thoughts of Christmas parties at work. Not that any of the ones I went to progressed like this but thinking about it now, I am sure it was a big possibility. :). I enjoyed the story! Written by Cindy :)

Tech whiz Jonah (H) stops by the practice where Taylor (h) works as a receptionist to demo his AI patient check-in tool. At first Taylor is a bit miffed at him for his tech being a threat to her job, even as she finds herself attracted to the older man. She agrees to accompany him to his company’s Christmas party and things quickly heat up between Jonah and Taylor, but things hit a snag when a friend catches her up on Jonah’s past. Hot and spicy age gap, Christmastime quickie romance with a side of angst.

He is smitten with her and she is flattered, normally everyone has eyes for her beautiful boss. She admits to him that she would like to study but has anxiety towards the exams. He invites her to the Christmas party of his company and wants to help her. Then a misunderstanding takes place...
Short insta love story, dating is not easy, but luckily it comes to a hea. I enjoyd the epilogue.

This was another great addition to this holiday series and I loved seeing Jonah and Taylor get their HEA. Jonah is a tech guru and Taylor feels her job is threatened by his new app. He wants to demonstrate how it would help her, not replace her, and during that lunch, the sparks start flying. She needs some help and he's more than happy to aid her but a misunderstanding gets in the way and causes them drama... This really was a sweet and steamy insta-love romance and the epilogue was just so cute :D

i loved this book..this was soo good i loved the realstionship beetween the two maincharacters and i'm def going to countuine reading this author

the way she writes her stories, her plot and characters is always soo good and always keeping me intrested in reading her stories

i'm soo exicted to see what the author comes up with in the future

if you haven't read anything by lilah hart you should def start reading books by her.. they are steamy

The title is beyond misleading--he's neither bossy, nor a scrooge, in any way, IMO as the reader. The story is definitely INSTA-everything since it basically takes place over the course of about 15 hours (with a HEA epilogue). It is well-written and sweet, though, so aside from whatever the title is supposed to mean, I'd give it a recommendation.

This is a great story when you are looking for hot and short. Taylor and Jonah had an instant attraction. It is an age-gap story (I love them!) with a kinda bossy, grumpy guy. There was minimal drama that was resolved quickly. Overall this was the perfect book for a quick steamy read.
