If theres one thing Charity gone do is educate while entertaining us!! Ma’am paranormal stories just might be your calling because you put your whole wolf paw 🐺and vampire🧛‍♀️ claw in this one here!! I absolutely LOVED Phalen and Allure! Do you hear me LOVED!!!

ADA Allure was all about delivering justice. It was either going to be done in the courtroom or in the streets but you were going to get what was coming to you! As a vampire 🧛‍♀️🩸 human hybrid, Allure was a rare species. Never fully accepted by either side, she became accustomed to being alone. She needed a safe space to truly be herself and with no family around, she became her own support system!

Phalen has recently taken his rightful place as the new Alpha of the Knight pack and despite some feeling that he didn’t deserve the title, he was ready to take on any one bold enough to challenge his position. Now that he has stepped into his fathers shoes, all he’s missing to complete himself is a mate.

Phalen was a goner the moment his path crossed with Allure’s. Her natural Alpha demeanor called to his alpha and he knew he had to have her. Despite an endless number of reasons why Allure and Phalen shouldn’t work, none of that mattered because they did! If my n*gga ain’t coming behind me the way Phalen did with Allure ion want him!

Allure is an ADA who walks a fine line between right and wrong. She fights hard to get justice for the little people but, when the justice system gets it wrong, sis don’t mind becomin’ the judge, the jury, and the executioner. She’s gon’ get you legally in the courtroom or by way of street justice. Either way, you catchin’ these supernatural judicial hands. By day, Allure is a respected Assistant District Attorney for the city of Hallow Grove but, she’s also a rare Hybrid Vampire. Born to a human mama and a vampire daddy, Allure struggles to fit in but, she’s never truly accepted in either world. So, she keeps her vampire lineage to herself and lives her life like a regular human. After the death of his dad, Phelan is named the new alpha of the Knight Pack. Queue the drama. There are some who thinks Phelan doesn’t deserve to be alpha because, he’s not a true heir to the Knight bloodline. My mans had to knock a few heads together and shred a few throats to remind his pack who he was. Not to be f*cked with. That’s who he was. While hangin’ out with his homeboy, Phelan bumps into Allure and it was all she wrote. In that moment, he knew she’s the woman meant to be his fated mate and he's standing ten toes down to make that happen. I loved the if you blinked you missed it cameo we got from Laz. I definitely wouldn’t say no to a crossover book with the Bennett and Knight packs. A book filled with black men shapeshifting into werewolves is the book we all deserve. I really enjoyed Rare Breed. It’s giving Blade’s lil sister. I thought the author did a fantastic job creating this fictitious supernatural world. This was the vampire/werewolf love story I didn’t know I needed. Now, you know you gon’ have to give us a spin-off with Key and Lobo right?!!! In the words of Keith Sweat, my good sis was twisted over that man and she hasn’t even sampled the goods yet! LOL!!! I’ll be patiently waiting because, I know you not gon’ leave us hanging like that.

Charity you need to make more paranormal reads this was so good. Phalen was all BDE….MINE..my Allure. Phalen didn’t care what Allure was she was his. My man killed anyone who doubted him. I wonder if there’s going to be a spin-off with Key and Lobo.

I enjoyed stepping into the paranormal realm. Phalen is newly the Alpha of his Werewolf pack and he is unsure if that is the life that he wants. However, in order to honor his parents he embraces his fate. When he meets his mate, his Allure who happens to be a vampire, he becomes even stronger and by any means necessary he protects her honor. When member of his pack began bucking their union, he fought them to the death and demanded respect for his mate. Allure is an ADA and she gets justice with or without the law unbeknownst to Phalen. However, he rides with her no matter what and does his best to create an easier life for her. The ending was sweet, but a little abrupt I would have liked just a little more to close out the story. I know I'm late, but definitely a solid read for the season.

Rare Breed is a quick story that captures readers attention. It begins with Phalen taking his place as the new alpha of his Wolfpack. His father passed away and the family is completing the death ritual. Of course with any change, there’s a few individuals who try their luck and make things difficult. But, Phalen is the man for the job. He’s super laid back but the wolf inside of him doesn’t mind making its presence known. When Phalen first notices Allure, he is quickly enamored with her- she is his mate. Allure is an Assistant District Attorney, a rare breed mixed with human and vampire. These two should not be together but the forces pull them together. It was really sweet to see them fall in love so quickly. Allure is my shero, in the way that she handles criminals inside the courtroom and the way she seeks justice in her own hands. She is that girl! The story is different from this author but she never ceases to amaze me. I really liked Phalen and Allure’s story, I would have taken more pages to bask in their love.

Phalen a TRUE ALPHA with tons of BDE!! The way he was putting people down behind respect & his mate 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🫡 ! Like who would be foolish enough to challenge him! The fact that even the play uncle was snaky 🐍🥴😅!

Allure was a BADDDDDDD A**, & has risen to one of my favorite FMCs. She was written beautifully & I enjoyed every minute of her.

This 84 pages was 🔥🔥! There wasn’t a dull moment in the story, & Charity deserves a standing ovation for sure 👏🏾 !

4 🌟 Well, this was nice little paranormal treat! It's always a breath of fresh air to read about paranormal creatures like werewolves and vampires that are melanated, because our people don't get enough shine in the genre imo. So I'll always do my best to support my melanated authors when I try their hand in the paranormal realms of writing.

Phalen was the kind of werewolf I needed in my life back when I was obsessed with Jacob's no p*ssy gettin' whipped ass lol! Because the way Phalen just knew that Allure was his right out of the gate and wouldn't take “no” for an answer... 🤤 I'm looking for an Alpha werewolf like him in my next lifetime!

All in all, this was an enjoyable, spicy, quick read that I honestly wouldn't mind getting a full-length novel for because Hollow Grove is still filled with so much lore and mythical creatures I would like to know more about tbh.

So are y’all team Underworld or Twilight? Me personally I’ll take them both. Thank you very much. Lol.

Oh how i wish this was a novel. I need more! I love the way this story flowed and how it wasn’t all about being a werewolf or vampire. The main characters (which i love) have careers and life outside of who they naturally are. The spice was everything. They had some really nice hot and heavy chemistry.

Short and to the point with action, family and more. A new to me author and i can’t wait to read more.

ADA Allure Reeves is in need of a night out and an alibi after losing a tough case. Newly appointed Alpha Phalen Knight is in need of space to clear his mind of his impending responsibilities. The Avenue is the place where fated mates connect and blood bonds are made. These two shouldn’t be together but they can’t be denied.

One thing about me, I love a wolf shifter. I love, love, love Phalen. Phalen didn’t play when he was challenged as an Alpha. I loved that aspect. Even when challenged by someone he never expected, he stood tough. Allure was no slouch either. She believed in getting justice for people whether the verdict was guilty or not guilty. She refused to let anyone get away with doing wrong.

I Like! I Like!

I enjoyed reading Charity Shane’s FIRST paranormal book. I like reading about wolves and vampires so I was really invested in this book. Phalen felt Allure and knew that she was his mate and he wasted no time in pursuing her. I’m glad that Tala and Allure made up and developed a better relationship and I don’t blame them for keeping JuJu at a distance due to her prejudice. I did want to know why Lobo was keeping Key at an arms length when he was clearly attracted to her. It would’ve been great if the twins were given names before the book ended. Oh, their animalistic love making was so spicy.

Phalen is the newly minted Alpha of his werewolf pack that dabbles in real estate and construction. Allure is a vampire/human hybrid and an Assistant District Attorney. “The rules” say they shouldn’t be together but fate has other plans. When Phalen imprints on Allure there is no turning back for him. He is the ultimate example of, if he wanted to he would. There is nothing Phalen won’t do to protect his mate and keep her by his side! Together, these fated-blood mates are an unstoppable pair but that doesn’t mean that the naysayers don’t try.

Phalen claims his title as the new ALPHA after his father passes. One night out he realizes he has found his fated mate. And when I tell y’all he did NOT let up! 😂 sis might’ve been scared and had her reserves. But, he said AHT AHT! You. BELONG. To. ME!

Allure is half human/vampire. And tries to keep it not just from Phalen. But also her best friend. (Which I’m hoping she reveals it in book #2 to her bestie). Once she tells Phalen, he’s cool with it. Doesn’t change anything for him.

Unfortunately, he has some old school way of thinking people in his pack. And they are against it. So much so he is challenged by two wolves in his pack. And the witch of his compound is pissed!

Phalen didn’t give a damn about how nobody felt about it. You accept his fated mate or you had to get the hell on or simply stay away.

This has such a perfect ending! Excited to read number ✌🏾

I really enjoyed this book! Phalen was so sure about what he wanted, and his determination to be with Allure, no matter what, was everything. His focus on her was intense and unwavering, and I loved seeing that level of devotion. It made their connection feel even more special. I love that for Allure 🥰

Amazing from beginning to end. I loved the chemistry between the main characters. Phalen has definitely made it to my list of book boyfriends. He was everything and more. I loved how the FMC was serving justice as well. I will definitely be going on to read Fated Breed by this same author! Charity this is your element hunny please continue to give us more paranormal romance and don’t be afraid to make it 300+ pages. We gone read every word!! 🥰💕♥️

Paranormal convert

I’m usually not into paranormal books but I am a fan of this author so I have this different genre a try and she had me hooked! I maybe a paranormal convert. While it was paranormal is had the charity Shane love story throughout. The way Phalen rode for his Allure was interesting. It was interesting to see these two strong but very different individual make their love work.

I will admit, I struggled while reading and had to switch to Alexa reading to me to get through the story but still, I struggled.

The first person dialogue killed a majority of this story imo and FOR ME, I didn’t need an explanation of every turn or shift.

All and all, I believe the author had good bones for this short. It just didn’t come together fully for this reader.

I went into this book completely blind because I do not read paranormal. I will admit that I enjoyed this book.
I was little confused in the beginning but then everything started to make sense.

Against all odds, You’re Mine

4.5 ⭐️ Human-Vampire and a Wolf. Phalen knew the minute he smelled Allure that she was his fated mate. He stopped at nothing to assure her that she is his. Slowly entering the paranormal romance and this quick read was just what I needed. “She will submit to me because she knows I got her and will fearfully protect her”.

A werewolf and a vampire fated/blood-bonded to each other was different for me to read. I’ve learned a while ago that I don’t like blood play, but this book didn’t gross me out. I enjoyed reading about the pack and how the vampire had some ties connected to them. Seeing how the pack treats their Alpha was fun to read as well. Very quick and short read.

I love when a book is short but can still give you all feels. Loved Phalan and Allure. I can appreciate she didn’t take long to accept she was his regardless of her doubts. Phalan is a rare breed werewolf while Allure is a hybrid human-vampire. What’s outside the norm was now destined and Phalan made sure everyone who tried him got them paws. I enjoyed reading. Would recommend.

Phalen &Allure.

Wow! That was commitment but a pretty dark cloud over these two none the less.

This was fast-paced and yet so satisfying! The quickest mating I have ever read, and yet it flowed seamlessly.

The pack questioned and didn’t want Phalan Knight as an Alpha, and he didn't want the position. It kinda shows. He is not exactly making any friends or sementing loyalty...

There were some unanswered questions in this book that lead me to wonder will there be a follow-up? Will the secret be uncovered. What of her paternity? And the obvious- rare breed pups!! Lobos story, perhaps?
