In the past two years, I leveled up as a kick-ass urban druid and became the leader of the Fianna Warriors my ancestor Fionn mac Cumhaill needed me to be.
The thing is—four months ago everything changed.
The veil between realms came down.
With dormant genes waking, the dominant races jockeying for their place in the hierarchy, and the world around us pulsing out of control with power, my position as the Fae Liaison of Toronto has gotten off to a chaotic start.
Is anyone really surprised?

I lurve the Urban Druid series so much. Going on the journey with Fi, clan Cool and the whole gang is breathtaking and wonderful...and of course fun! Have had the privilege to read from the very beginning and enjoy it every time. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for anyone that enjoys high octane adventure and what it means to be family. A big thank you to AT and MA for another riproaring escape.
Let me say right off that while I enjoyed this series, it doesn’t hold the same place in my bookish heart that the first series does. That said, I always have a good time with Fiona and the rest of her crazy group. This series is set about three months after the fallout of The Culling (the final battle in the previous series), and while I like the fact that the world is dealing with the repercussions of the veil failing, I just wasn’t a fan of how the authors dealt with that, and how everything always seemed to fall on Fiona’s shoulders to either fix, uncover, or deal with.
So, while this was not my favourite, I did enjoy seeing the characters and following their adventures once again. If you want to read this I would say that you definitely need to read the first series (yes, all 15 books - or two omnibuses if that makes you feel better). Don’t know whether the authors will revisit these characters in the future, but here’s hoping that we’ll get a Fiona update at some point in the future.
The love and all encompassing family life shown in these books just gives me hope. I love the humour, the sibling bickering, the family that accepts new members and sticks to it's ideals of Justice and fairness. Fiona, as a character, never gets old. All the characters are so well crafted that you love them or hate them, except for the odd one or two that are really not quite what you think, like Discord. The descriptions of locations is awesome, makes me think I am really there. I love the magic, the druidness and the happy endings but now I need to know how Fiona and Sloan cope with parenthood. More books please, keep the stories coming!
Oh my goodness. I have so enjoyed reading this series. I love all the little fun reminders of romcoms, tv and movies. A little history and geography thrown in with ancient Greek myths and legends. Then the rhymes, riddles and poetry type of spells. The constant examples of love, respect and fighting for what is right. The writers imaginings and descriptive style made the stories run smoothly in my own imagination. I will put this series on my list of fun re-reads. Thank you for the adventures and quests.
This series has kept me engaged, interested and involved for several weeks. I am very pleased with the steady evolution of the dozen or so characters the author followed throughout the entire course of this tale. They struggled with multiple changes in their world(s) and lives but survived by combining all of their talents and gifts with a shared love of family. I highly recommend these books to anyone who enjoys reading fantasy.
I enjoyed reading these books, but I can not forgive you for not getting some details right. The biggest bloopers, were potatoes and tobacco, were not! Introduce into England until the early Tudor period, not during Merlin's time! Apart from that, a good read, but I did wish she didn't cry so much or kept telling us she needed to go to the toilet! To much information!
These books have been a wonderful read, through all of them. It wrapped up nicely, but I'm sorry it's ended. The people, the family It's all just a lot of fun. If you enjoy reading urban fantasy I highly recommend the series , just make sure you start at the beginning. It's much better starting from there.
Reading about the adventures of Clan Cumhaill will keep you up late at night, making you grumpy the next morning, but so worth it. It's an amazing tale about a fascinating family, full of Irish wisdom & drink, God's influence, with a side of magic through & through. The 22 books have truly made me lose precious hours of sleep & I have no regrets.
all the good stuff- love, laughter, action set-backs and triumph!
I loved every bit of the ups and downs, the incredibly descriptive and character-developing narrative, and the inclusion of a vast array of legendary characters brought to life and reworked Fiona-style! Worth every bit of the time and effort put into its creation for my imaginary pleasure!!!!
Wonderful collection of characters and stories Plus family Maybe because I read this over the December holidays, the sharing of family and love stood out more Great times Thank you
This series is a must read, just for the entertainment and laugh out loud moments alone. Factor in the amazeball characters, fantastic world building and the awesome action, you are definitely entertained throughout the series.
I love love love this series and was very sorry to see it come to an end and I cannot wait to see what Emmett and Brenny"s series is going to be I hope it's many many books.

This series is so full of life both joyful and grim, that I rationed it after the first book. The characters are clever and well filled out, giving them life beyond the pixels on the page.
These books have me smiling, eewing, and crying with each adventure. The characters and stories are something to be proud of - as someone who has never read these types of books I have read three box sets in record time and it still wasn’t enough….more sorties please
If you like a great story with great characters you'll like this series. Humorous and all about family and what you'll do for all your loved ones set in a paranormal landscape.
Author does an incredible job of writing this epic tale, weaving all these characters individual stories together in a massive series full of laughter, friendship and care. Truly enjoyed the adventures and look forward to many more tales!
I thoroughly enjoyed this series. I grew to love the characters and laugh and cry along with their ordeals. This was truly an excellent and entertaining ride through a fantasy world.
