Decided not to read the last section of the book, which is a Doc Sampson series and a couple more Incredible Hulk stories. The She-Hulk books were fun! This contains the last 10 of what’s considered the John Byrne era (and can be read in the first two She-Hulk Epic collections). With that being said, I may go back to the Doc Sampson stuff if I really need a fix for some gritty hard lined 90’s art but it overall feels a little off to tail end a She-Hulk book with his story. Start with the first Epic if you want this She-Hulk era. I did enjoy the first arc with ‘Adrenazone’ but overall I can only recommend this to completionists who have the first two epic collection volumes.

I only read this for the last ten issues of The Sensational She-Hulk and skimmed the rest. It was an okay send-off to a fun series. If only subsequent series with the character had the same charmingly lame sense of humor! Also re: the other stuff 1990s comic art was so bad, it’s nuts.

Starts with the She-Hulk sections of some Marvel Comics Presents, that is solid enough. Has the last 10 issues of the Sensational She-hulk which maintain the quality seen in that series mostly, though the final issue is a bit of a let down, it also seems like it came on quickly. They do inject some humor into the "oh crap we gotta wrap this up." especially with Jen's 4th wall breaking. Then there is a She-Hulk centric issue of Incredible Hulk, which holds up.

Then we take a dip. There is the 4 issue run of Doc Samson. I don't like Doc Samson that much as a character. I think the art in this series is pretty bad. I think the writing is pretty bad. The villain is bad and never sees the light of day again. Worst of all, for it's inclusion in a She-hulk collection, there is barely any She-Hulk in it. I get putting it in here for completion sake but it is by no means a vital she-hulk read.

Then there are a couple more Incredible Hulk issues, with not a lot of She-Hulk in them. They are decent enough issues but they are smack dab in the middle of a storyline and we don't really get the beginning or end of said storyline so it feels odd.

Closing out though, there is a pretty solid Team up with The Thing. I am not a huge Fantastic Four fan but I really like Thing. I feel like he always has solid team ups. It was very a much a "super heroes just trying to have a regular day and then everything goes wrong and thank god these heroes were here at the right time kind of thing."

Basically the stuff that focuses on She-Hulk throughout this collection is solid, the times where there is sparse She-Hulk I do not care.

Mostly value it for having the final issues of the original run of Sensational She-Hulk and consider most other stuff "a bonus"

This kind of reminds me of Chris Claremont's Giant sized Tomb of Dracula issues. Now Claremonts gs issues of the OG blood sucker are very good reads, really good, BUT they pale in comparison to Marv Wolfman's and Gene Colan's main run, which is phenomonal. If that run wasn't so good, I'd bet the GS issues would be looked on more favourably.

It's the same with this Epic collection, in particular the main run. Yes it's not John Byrne, they are not as good as John Byrne's issues, which are fantastic, BUT these final 10 issues are still of a very good high quality, and so underrated. They are objectively real good fun 90s comics.

The issues outside of the run are also good fun, I enjoyed the Doc Sampson series, and the final 2002 one shot featuring the Thing was really good fun too. So all in all, highly recommended.
