This book for me was so sad because I read the whole series and i read them over and over and the end was just so unexpected and to just end like that in my opinion was tragic I was crying while i was reading the book because while reading this series i felt like i was actually at camp lakeview hanging out with these girls and really getting to know them on and off grounds and i wish that the author would continue the series but she is moving on and sp shoud i 'sniffle' I can't wait for her new series but i just wish that she hadn't ended the last one

I read Suddenly Last Summer by Melissa J. Morgan. This book is about ten girls going to their last year of Camp Lakeview, their favorite summer camp. They're very happy about enjoying their last year, but are heartbroken when they hear the news that Camp Lakeview is closing. The state reprensentive wants to build a highway right where Camp Lakeview is! The girls won't take that chance, and create a protest! The whole process includes a lot of drama, and a lot of crying. Some parts of this book are a little boring, but other then that, this was a great book! I really enjoyed it! Do not read this book if you haven't read the whole series, or at least part of the series, or it won't make any sense!

This was a solid storyline: the topic of protests, human rights, and moving on are important for kids to learn. Finally, the boy drama in this book is justified and realistic!
