An eclectic range of short stories by New Zealand authors. Some are straightforward, some are bizarre, some are heartwarming, and some are heart wrenching. All in all, a great taster of New Zealand fiction.

In truth I read about 75% of the stories - which for me is a miracle. I’m not really one for short stories. This was a book club read. It was my intention to read every single story, that’s not going to happen.

So I’ve essentially finished it, grateful to have the hard copy because now it will look great on the coffee table of our wee Airbnb!

I enjoyed of 60% of those I read - win.
