Che libraccio
Uno dei peggiori mai letti. Sia per la scrittura sia per la storia.
Dopo poche pagine ho capito che non mi sarebbe piaciuto. Ma ho sperato fino alla fine che ci fosse un cambio di rotta.
Scritto in terza persona con capitoli alternati per lui e lei. Che essendo in terza persona non mi è così chiaro la scelta dei capitoli lei/lui.
La traduzione pessima e la storia confusa non hanno aiutato. È il terzo di una serie e non ho letto i primi due, ma direi che non sono così collegati. Non saprò tutto di Nate, ma dormirò sonni tranquilli lo stesso.

Abbiamo un ricco proprietario di una squadra di baseball, Jonas, dedito al lavoro da sempre perché voleva che il padre lo apprezzasse. Invaghito di una sua sottoposta, Mae, che ha lasciato anni addietro nonostante ci stesse bene, sempre per apparire agli occhi del padre. Ora le chiede di sposarlo con un contratto così da apparire migliore agli occhi del mondo e fare affari migliori.
Mae che è cresciuta di botto a 19 anni perché ha perso i genitori, assumendosi la responsabilità del fratellino Nico, ogni volta che Jonas lancia una palla lei salta. Perché? Un po’ di amor proprio? Non gliela fa neanche sudare.
Buchi nella trama : perché il padre di Jonas voleva lasciare tutto a Nico? Mi aspettavo un risvolto almeno in questa sotto trama e invece nulla.

Libro bocciatissimo.
Non leggerò altro di suo anche se mi appare come consigli ovunque. Ci deve essere un bug nel mio Kindle unlimited.

Good standalone story

I enjoyed this love story as a standalone book, just not a part of the series. Jonas and Mae have been in love for years. A fake marriage unlocks their feelings for a HEA ending.
This is supposedly the second book in the series. Book 1, Save Me Billionaire, is Nate and Ava's love story. Nate is strong, reserved, and a brilliant businessman. Jonas is introduced as a total jerk . Ava says he is "all bluster". He lears over her, trying to seduce her. Not at all the Jonas in this book. Nate in this book gets drop down drunk at a restaurant at a business lunch. Not at all the Nate from book 1. Nate introduces his new wife, Avery, at a party. What happened to the love of his life, Ava?
I rated this 4 stars as a standalone book, not book 2 in a series.

Deal with my enemy: Ein Boss für Mae ist der 2. Teil der Office Romance Reihe. Die Bücher können unabhängig voneinander gelesen werden. In diesem Buch geht es um Mae und Jonas. Zum Inhalt verweise ich auf den Klappentext. Ich war echt gespannt auf das neue Buch der Autorin. Der Klappentext hat mich neugierig gemacht. Ich muss sagen, dass der Autorin wieder einmal ein tolles Buch gelungen ist. Bereits von der ersten Seite hat mich die Geschichte von Mae und Jonas vollkommen in den Bann gezogen. Mae und Jonas sind zwei wundervolle Charaktere. Beide könnten auf den ersten Blick nicht unterschiedlicher sein und trotzdem fühlen sich beide zueinander hingezogen. Ich habe mit den beiden mitgefiebert und mitgelitten. Für mich hat das Buch alles was man sich wünscht. Das Cover passt super zum Buch. Das Buch wird aus der Sicht von Mae und Jonas erzählt. Durch die unterschiedlichen Perspektiven kann man sich super in die Charaktere hineinversetzen. Der Schreibstil der Autorin ist absolut fesselnd und mitreißend. Vielen Dank für die tollen Lesestunden. Ich hätte noch Stunden weiterlesen können. Ich hoffe es gibt bald weitere Bücher der Reihe. Ich kann das Buch nur weiterempfehlen. Absolute Leseempfehlung. ❤️❤️❤️

-Part of the You Belong To Me series each can be reads as ta standalone a tug of war between our two leading guys. Jonas sexy as all get out new club manager of the sport empire including baseball the team that the young lady’s brother play’s for and that has him thinking about a deal he needs a women to help his reputation, one by his side and not any women he need Mae so a deal is struck she be his women when needed he ensures a spot for her brother on his baseball team what could go wrong. Mae is a sensible person who loved her job when she worked with this dad now, she considers quitting daily. That was until the deal he struck with her allowing her brother a spot on the baseball team. The magnetic pull between these two can’t be denied and no matter how professional they act the stronger the pull between them grows but can they have something more than fake considering he holds her brother’s career over here head , does it improve his image her being with him, will they give each other an honest chance, and can they find something more than fake?

Mae & Jonas

Nun dieses Buch war recht turbulent.
Die Autorin schafft es mit ihrem leichten Schreibstil und der wechselnden Erzählperspektive beider Protagonisten uns in ihre Geschichte zu ziehen.

Allerdings haben mich die vielen kleinen Dramen leider gestört, da sie einfach überflüssig sind und gekünstelt erscheinen.
Auch konnte mich das Buch emotional nicht wirklich abholen, da es sich eher oberflächlich laß.
