When American covert operative Chase Fulton’s life is turned upside down with news almost too good to be true, everything he believes about his world changes in an instant, and the life he dedicated to serving his country and the preservation of freedom suddenly fades out of focus as a new reality becomes the center of his existence. But before the dream of his new life can materialize, one final mission demands his devotion like never before.American hostages, including a Pulitzer Prize–winning journalist, have fallen into the hands of Los Zetas, one of the world’s most ruthless and violent drug cartels, and no one is dispatched to rescue the doomed victims. As the truth about why the hostages have been abandoned by their country reveals itself, an even more horrific reality looms on the horizon for Chase and his team of seasoned operatives. On the edge of the Mexican jungle, just out of sight of the resort paradise of Cabo San Lucas, maniacal forces lurk not only in the shadows, but also boldly in the bright midday sun, unafraid of those who would dare try standing between them and the imminently condemned victims of their ferocious, bloodthirsty fury. Can Chase survive the mission he swears will be his last, or will he draw his final breath beneath the falling blade of the darkest enemy he’s ever faced?
Creator of The Chase Fulton Novels series and The Avenging Angel - Seven Deadly Sins Series, Cap Daniels is a former sailing charter captain, scuba and sailing instructor, pilot, Air Force veteran, and civil servant of the U.S. Department of Defense. Raised far from the ocean in rural East Tennessee, his early infatuation with salt water was sparked by the fascinating, and sometimes true, sea stories told by his father, a retired Navy chief petty officer. Those stories of adventure on the high seas sent Cap in search of adventure of his own, which eventually landed him on Florida’s Gulf Coast where he and his wife Melissa spend as much time as possible on, in, and under the waters of the Emerald Coast.
With a headful of larger-than-life characters and their thrilling exploits, Cap pours his love of adventure and passion for the ocean onto the pages of his action adventure series, The Chase Fulton Novels and his new series Avenging Angel - Seven Deadly Sins.
Inspired by the likes of John D. Macdonald’s Travis McGee, Randy Wayne White’s Doc Ford, and Wayne Stinnett’s Jesse McDermitt, Cap creates thrilling tales of action and adventure set throughout the Caribbean and coastal Florida and Georgia by intertwining nautical adventure with international espionage. Cap’s Chase Fulton Novels series promises to keep readers on the edge of their seats, trying to guess what new danger or adventure lies just around the corner.
The Avenging Angel - Seven Deadly Sins series is a spin-off starring the most controversial and intriguing character from the Chase Fulton Novels. After defecting to the United States, Anastasia "Anya" Burinkova, a former Russian SVR assassin and intelligence operative puts her lethal skill set into action against the powerful Russian Mafia. In this gritty, organized-crime thriller series, Cap Daniels takes his readers into the dark underworld of the Russian Mafia weaving actual events into fiction to leave the reader's heart pounding and their fingers itching to turn the page.

The book came out yesterday! I stopped everything, got my copy and joined the Team on their next adventure. Why not? I’ve been doing it for so long now, I’m a tad disappointed I never get a mention of my involvement. No honorable mention for me! I don’t really care, mind you, but there are days a retired Sub Sailor like me wouldn’t mind doing a deep dive and gurgling the watered air bubbles as I was going down with the Team. And that brings me to Cap’s latest and greatest. The times we’re in are dangerous and there’s a lot of “old” guys and gals who’ve been there, done that and they see the peril we’re in as a country. What can we do? Cap comes along and does battle with an enemy meaner than him. All we can do is cheer him on. But, I want to participate again. I’m still viable, trust me! If Disco can ramrod a Huey or a King Air, move over! If Singer can plant his Lapuu and rattle the rounds into the bad guys…well, you get the idea. That’s what this book did for me. I was there. I pushed myself as Clark pushed, and dammit I powered that Porsche up PCH with my Toy Poodle and gal, laughing before having lunch outside Santa Barbara. I was the Phantom, an uninvited character (trust me, I am) and I had a blast. I came h9me a hero again. Thanks, Cap, for the ride. It was glorious and at 75.5 years of age a pleasurable joy.
Penny is miraculously pregnant, is it somehow Chase’s baby? An extremely vicious Mexican cartel, whose members delight in slicing and dicing their captives, has kidnapped several American citizens. What will happen to them? If Chase’s team becomes involved, will THE BOARD sanction a rescue mission? Will the team lose any members? For those of you who are reading this review, all I will say is, “Get a copy of this book, find a comfortable location to settle in, and buckle in for a breathtaking few hours of typical Chase Fulton adventure. Cap, each book keeps getting better and better. Long live Chase and his Misfits.
Just another great story of the gang. Loved the involvement of Anya, physically involved in the plot. The baby part of the story was at least interesting and You did do a good job writing that through. Not sure If I had a better idea for an end to that part of the book. The basic story falls in line with most of the really good shoot em-ups that Cap has put together in the 23 books. I enjoyed this as much as all the others. I did make it all the way to the landing in Cano before I spent the rest of the night finishing the book. Like so many other people I am a huge fan! Great job!
I am a very avid reader & picked a Chase Fulton book by accident. Read the first one & was hooked. I find it amazing all the technical things you work into the story. Singer & Gator are 2 of a kind but have different innuendos which is great to see. The Board is becoming real now that the team can see them(hope I didn't give anything away.) Mongo is Mongo & a much needed team member. He reveals his smarts only when asked or something stupid is being done. Great read. Can't wait for the next one.
Not that I've not shed an occasional tear reading these 24 novels, but today I cried with and for Chase, for the F. U. B. A. R.-able mess we've made of our beautiful planet, country(s), lives, and how small and ineffectual and powerless we feel in the face of it all when we realize we are not in control of anythng, not even ourselves... You have made these people and their lives so real to me, so much a part of my life, I cried. Good job!
Unfaithfulness within? A new car. Does family come before missions? Missing Americans. Missing reporter. Murder. A mission without intel? Horribly evil enemies. As ever Cap keeps us guessing in his latest adventure. I have loved every one of his stories. They are all five stars. If you have not read them all, you are missing out. Anya makes a welcome reappearance in this one. Enjoy Phantom Chase and then like me you will be eagerly awaiting Cap’s next book.
Outstanding….and never surprised, well mostly never. Won’t share details but will simply say that Cap’s imagination is my enjoyment. Find it so hard to put the books down when I start. For those of you who only read the story…start reading the Authors Notes at the end. They will enlighten you and it shines a light on the soul of this author. I find them thoroughly enjoyable. Read these books. Period. Full stop. Get with it.
Mr. Daniels has Chase and Team moving at the speed of light in this story! Their are so many tangents in this one you need a traffic cop! However, Chase takes his Team and they work out a solution to the problem that uses every ounce of ability they have. Not for the faint of heart! I know Mr. Daniels has written disclaimers, but he makes everything so believable that the reader goes with the whole plot! So try to keep up!
Since Cap Daniels introduced Chase Fulton, I have waited impatiently for the next installment. The stories are engaging and pretty much believable. I prefer writers who write without relying on graphic sex to keep readers interested. He also avoids scatological language (that's a lot of unnecessary cussing for those who don't know that word). Thanks, Cap! I look forward to your next offering.
This is an excellent book and hard to put down after you have read the first fewpages. Cap has a great talent and I am glad that he is willing to share it with us. You never know which way the book is going to go but he never disappoints. Be sure to read the Author Note at the end of the book to hear the process he uses in writing these fabulous novels.
Another chapter in the Chase Fulton story from Cap Daniels. As always, great story with characters that you feel are real because of the way Mr. Daniels has introduced them to us through his great story telling. Fast paced, intriguing, happy and even sad, you will smile, think and maybe even tear up reading this bok. Thanks Cap!
Best book so far and I've loved them all. With each book you are offered the opportunity to get to know the crew more deeply. Phantom Chase gives a more in-depth look at their emotions and the ties that bind them closer. I'll probably read it again. Hope you do too.
WOW! What a magnificent episode in Chase's continuing adventures. Cap, you are amazing, just when one thinks it can't get more exciting or better, it does! Without giving anything away every element of this story was exciting and mostly unexpected. What more can be said... Keep'm coming Mr. Genius!
Absolutely amazing! Lots of action and compassion went into this adventure. Without giving away the ending I can say after the previous book I had thought there would be a new addition to the team. You will understand that more when you read it. Once again, Cap has pulled out yet another absolutely insane novel for his fans. Keep it up, Cap. Look forward to the next book in April.
Once again the cap lets you know that it was going to be the best ever with so many people to watch and of course anya back with chase for an operation and giving part of her body to penny unites all....ciao from Costa Rica from myself and of course Bobbie my Scottish terrier ...plus Happy New Year....
I’ve read each of the Chase Fulton novels, and they never fail to please. This one had me holding my breath at times and wiping tears away at others. It was an excellent book with several surprises. There’s lots of action, and of course the entire “family” played a role. I’ve become very attached to his team.
Another amazing story by Cap Daniels filled with never ending excitement. Yes, I admit I shed a few tears, especially at the end. Can you imagine Anya saving Penny’s life? And again the team’s togetherness shines bright. Is there a new team member on board? I thought Chase was going to retire but we will see. The author’s note at the end adds so much to this epic story.
I've read everything Mr Daniels has ever written and each one seems to better then the previous one. He's definitely a must read author. Make sure you read all his series. But you must start at book one of each series as Cap has a continuous story line that moves thru each series.
After reading 24 books of Chase and his entire band of misfit brothers, you think you have read it all! No! This one was loaded with non-stop action hitting every emotional high and low imaginable ! Oh my gosh! There is one more ! 😃
I cannot express how much I enjoy Cap’s adventures. I am sad for Chase and Penny’s loss, but know there will be some form of redemption in the next story, I hope. As always, a well written story that keeps you very entertained for the entire book. Thank you, Cap.
Cap Daniels has done a phenomenal job on Book 24 of his Chase Fulton stories. I have read every installment this series and recommend every one of them, but Cap just keeps upping the ante, which just makes look forward to the next one even more. Read em all!!
This was an amazing read with a lot to take in from this book. With Cap Daniels you just never know where its going to end up , but its one HELL of a ride at 600 mph , thats for sure!!!
I have read most, if not all, of this series. They are generally too goody two shoes for me but this one has death and destruction to taste. Thanks Cap see you soon!
Was an exciting run, and was wondering how Chase would fit into a supervisor role with the team. Penny's accident and loss of the baby, put's Chase back in the game. Will be interesting where #25 takes him.
Cap Daniels delivers.again. Fast paced.story line. Hold on for.the ride exciting! Look forward to more exciting adventures. Not.a.charmed.life.of.any of.the characters.
I love everything about the Chase Fulton novels. The characters are fully formed and consistent. The plot is exciting and enticing. I love reading Cap Daniels' comments at the end of the book. He's honest, interesting, and funny.
Something abet different….l like it. Nice twist in the story with lots to build on and keep Chase in the game. Wondered how that was going to play out. Looking forward to the next book.
This was a really fast paced read. I couldn’t put it down. The excitement was as fast as the ship on foils. You will have to read this book to understand that. What a great story teller! Cap Daniels has done it again. Thanks for another great read.
Another great.Cap Daniel’s novel. I read this one out of sequence but that means nothing as they stand alone. He is an exceptionally great story teller and this one was fun. I seriously doubt the Mexican Navy shot missilles at them as that would be the start of a war, but he wanted more drama
